After listening to Audible’s Arabian Nights, I’d honestly love to see Omid Djalili appear in a Big Finish play.

He was due to make an appearance as Mr Copper in Voyage of the Damned but had to pull out of the role. In the absence of him appearing on television, I think David Jason would be grand on audio. It doesn’t even need to be a comedic part as things like Ghostboat and Inspector Frost have shown he can quite easily pull off more serious roles.

David Jason would be fantastic. I think he had a couple of near misses with Doctor Who. The above Voyage of the Damned example and I’m pretty sure a few episodes later playing Halpen in Planet of the Ood.
I’m amazed nothing has ever come about in the 12 years since, especially as soon as David stopped playing Frost.

I could imagine him playing it more genial whilst still coming across as a ruthless businessman. I imagine he’s probably on a list of actors Big Finish would like to get but he’s either far too busy or far too expensive. Have to be a pretty juicy part I’d imagine if he were to do an audio. Then again, as I always say, we’ve still got plenty more incarnations of the Eleven to see. The bookish and intellectual One who possesses all of Gallifrey’s secrets could be a good fit for him.

I think Adrian Lester would have a great presence in an audio story. And I've always loved The Good Life, so I'd be over the moon if Felicity Kendal or Penelope Keith would consider it.

Considering she is already playing a role in their Dark Shadows range, I’d honestly love to see Julie Newmar make an appearance in a Doctor Who story or one of its associated spin offs.

Extremely unlikely to happen but I’d like to see Alfred Molina play a role. He’s done a bit of radio before with his turn as Blofeld in the excellent Toby Stephens James Bond adaptations. Could make for a memorable one off villain.

Miranda Richardson. An actress who I’m surprised has never made an appearance on the main series.

Patricia Potter Hugh Quarshie Regards mark687 Holby Fan, I’m guessing! I was at drama school with Patricia (though I literally cannot call her Patricia, and never have!), must ask her if she has a home record set up. She’s got a good voice for it.

He has of course made an appearance on the main series but I honestly think Bill Nighy would be great in a Big Finish story. Thought he was a terrific Charles Paris on the radio.

You know her? I have been in love with her since Diane's first episode. My suggestions...? Robbie Coltrane John Hannah Both seem obvious to me, as good British actors.

Robbie Coltrane is a must especially given his health these days Big Finish should ask him and soon he would make an excellent Unbound Doctor too
