After the greatness of The Conquest of Far I don’t know that we need another Dalek story so soon but Churchill and 3 sounds like an interesting pairing and that is a gorgeous cover.

Hold on we keep saying "So soon" but its been 2 years since a Dalek story for the Range plus its by Guy Adams who always adds an inventive pinch of something to usual formulas.

Regards mark687 True, very true. But we have had a bunch of Time War stories as of late featuring the Daleks as well as their pivotal role in the upcoming War Master boxset.

Regards mark687 Relative to the amount of full cast 3rd Doctor stories Big Finish has produced and the frequency of their release, I do think maybe it is a little too soon. And Conquest of Far set a pretty high bar.

What a lovely and striking cover. I like McNeice’s Churchill and I think he’ll make for a perfect foil to the Third Doctor. I’m intrigued for more information to see if he’ll interact with the Brigadier. I’ve no issues with another Dalek outing for the Third Doctor and Jo. I wasn’t keen on the one from volume three at all, so think there’s scope for another one. i guess I may be one of the few who enjoyed Conquest of Far was it an outstanding story no it was a Dalek story and very few of them except really for Genesis have been outstanding but it was the first outing of Tim and Jo together against the Daleks so I totally enjoyed it

So I've no issues with the Doctor & Jo coming up against their deadly foes once again either.

I know, it makes me sound nuts but I don't care! It's the highest compliment I can possibly give to Nick, Katy and Tim and they deserve it, so I'll share it and blush a bit at my idiocy. Just for a single rel I was listening to a TV soundtrack not an audio play. They were 'the real thing'! I'm so looking forward to this next set.

I loved the story and the tardis team involved and i look forward to their next skirmish. I have totally slowed down buying new stuff at moment for the sheer wealth of great material i relisten to.I only recently got the Comic Strip adaptions as i just wanted to redevelop into stuff and just finished the Prisoner again. Time Treloar is amazing at what he does and Katy am so glad we got eventually a full cast for her. These are fast becoming the highlights for me and also th Ben,Polly and Jamie stories i just love them.

The Pert One looks like he’s about to shoot Force Lightning at someone.

www.bigfinish.com/news/v/the-daleks-are-backDue for release in May 2020, the latest volume in Big Finish’s full-cast audio adventures for the Third Doctor pits the Time Lord against the most evil power in the universe, and the worst of humanity.

I don't particularly care for the first episode, but the second one looks REALLY promising with it's Indiana Jones touch.

So Churchill and an as yet unnamed Timelord,,, Regards mark687 I assumed when I read it that it was just a cameo at the start of the story - like in Terror of Autons or Genesis of Daleks - to send the Dr off on his mission

The first story sounds interesting; the Third Doctor & Daleks go together like tea and biscuits. A comfy combination.

I don't particularly care for the first episode, but the second one looks REALLY promising with it's Indiana Jones touch. Indeed. I feel just the same. After my first full adventure with Treloar in Legacy of Time, this might be my first 3DA... very tempting.

Anyway this sounds like a(nother) great set (the Brig. and Benton travelling again too), Friday 13th is clearly a lucky day for Pertwee-era fans!
