Ooh, I’m actually very tempted by The Invisible Man. Can’t go wrong with a bit of John Hurt.

A belated "Happy New Year!" to you all. 🎉🎉🎉 For a time I was tad concerned that the 2019 Big Finishmas was going to pass me by without a single impulse buy, but day Nine has most definitely scratched that particular itch..and frankly at a "frickin' steal" too. As ollychops said you cannot go wrong with a bit of John Hurt and you certainly cannot go wrong with a bit of John Hurt playing the titular character of an H G Wells classic (the free excerpt on the website was enough to draw me in). Thanks Big Finish! Now then, any chance we can have some Monthly Adventures added in the last three days? 😊

Bit strange that it’s Volume 2. Sales are usually a marketing tool to entice new customers, which you’re less likely to do with the second set than the first.

While I'm sure I'm not the only who is a tad disappointed with the lack of a Monthly Adventures offering for Big Finishmas it's worth noting that for the past few years in late January / early to mid February we have had a Monthly Adventures sale. Hopefully that's one tradition that will continue this year.
Of course it's also worth noting that (unsubtle hint inbound) it's been two and a half years since Big Finish permanently reduced the prices on 51 - 100...😁

Newsletter claimed it was £2.99 (or $2.99 for those in USA). I was a bit tempted to try it at that price but at £4.99/$4.99... not so much.

I was disappointed with the offerings for Big Finishmas in general this year. Seems like they are having fewer offers each year.

I got The Invisible Man, as I mentioned above. But I also ended up picking up Dark Shadows: Echoes of the Past and Dorian Gray: The Spirts of Christmas. I've only listened to a few Dark Shadows so far, but I'm still trying to work through the Who backlog, so I figure I'll get to Echoes of the Past eventually so I can't really say no to such a discount. I haven't listened to any of Dorian so far, but it's on my list, and again, with it only being £2.99, it's not as if I'm breaking the bank even if I don't like it.
