'Jumping Jehoshaphat!'
Limited Edition vinyl loveliness aside for a moment, it's great to see these getting another physical release in any form. Those three wonderful actors and it was so good to hear them all back in action together in the 90s.
Beautiful presentation in this set! Thanks for flagging this up Davy. Next stop Amazon...

I have still to listen to the double cassette version of Ghosts of N-Space that i bought a few years back to go with my Paradise of Death cassettes. Perfectly fine for in car listening, given the type of radio drama they are. Must remember to leave it in the glove box, with the Hancock's Half Hour.
Yes I have a 6 CD magazine in the boot, but you can't beat a bit of analogue can you eh?

In recognition of my sterling service protecting the reputation of these audio dramas by immortalising the name of the greatest of all the '90s companions (except the ones in books/comics or US TV or the early Big Finishes, obviously), I would be honoured to accept a free set. Because there's no way even I'm going to pay ninety quid for these.
I mean, at least chuck in a BBC Radio Collection narrated soundtrack of "Dimensions in Time", right?

I think with these releases, you need to be into collecting them as a range of beautifully packaged and presented collectors pieces, like the Blu-Rays for the classic series. If I was to dip into them, I would be compelled to play them to get the best out of them, on a top notch player and speakers. Things I bought 35 years ago when I was in my mid teens haven't exactly gone through the roof except where they were rarities to start with. As these records will probably remain as numerous as their pressing run, owing to being bought exclusively by careful owners, I wonder to what extent they may appreciate in value once sold out. Certainly, when I buy new merchandise now, I estimate with regard to when I bought the early VHS releases etc, that I will be in my mid eighties by the time any new releases reach the same point age wise. So I look to getting things I can just enjoy and not worry about future collectors items. Let someone else worry about preserving for posterity. Good on those collecting them though and I may add that I am indeed envious, all the same. One day my box fresh Deny's fisher's and Century 21 records may appreciate a little bit more. Sobering thought as to how time marches on and we are finite in our allocated slot in this world....

Not related to this release, but to Music Sountracks on Vinyl, for those interested (no point in creating a thread for it alone). www.recordstore.co.uk/recordstore/recordstore/Doctor-Who-The-Sun-Makers-The-Visitation-Bundle/6FWU0000000A bundle offer for pre-orders of the forthcoming soundtracks for The Sunmakers and The Visitation. Basically, buy one, get one free. Not my niche, as I am happy with what Vinyl I have, but for those looking to get some Doctor Who platter, this seems a good deal. Seems they are part of an Eight Doctors collection of releases. Anyone know what the others are/will be?
