Cheers Brig
TW (Martha Back!)
Dracula Guests Gatiss made a surprisingly subtle Count Last Time. I'm hoping for an exploration of the 3 Females (do they have a Title or are they just there)
4DA Series 9B (Planet of the Withes intrigues in particular)
DW ST Deleted Scenes (Jamie in Hollywood sounds fun)
DW MR
The Physic Circus (Odd Tv Ep to go back to [or indeed in this case set up] with an odd addition make me nervous)
Regards

Doctor Who : The Fourth Doctor Adventures - Series 9, Volume 2. Nothing else interests me. So a cheap month for me.

Gallifrey. The previous 2 were great. Curious what they come up with, next. A helpless, desperate, marooned Romana has quite a bit potential. Torchwood. There has been a time, back in the day, when Martha was my favorite companion. Yeah, really. 12th Doctor Chronicles. Yes, I am also on the fence about Dudman's performance. Apart from that, I am actually looking forward to some more Danny/ 12 banter. It is that child inside me. And then there is Osgood. Always had a soft spot for Osgood. And it is her trip in the TARDIS. What is not to like?

I'm getting everything this month but I'm most looking forward to volume 2 of this year's Fourth Doctor Adventures and Dracula's Guests.

What are you anticipating? Just a friendly heads up that the Anticipation Thread Poll is now up and running for February. Interesting responses in the day since it began. Torchwood has probably had it's strongest start in the poll for a while (clearly the Martha Jones effect), Short Trips has had it's weakest, and just as last month while the boxset of the Fourth Doctor Adventures has done extremely well the download only options haven't even got off the ground. Which makes me wonder - is it the cost of the downloads of the individual stories compared to the current price of the boxset or the fact that there isn't a separate CD for the individual stories? Anyway, plenty of time for things to change in the race for 'most anticipated'...especially if you haven't voted for YOUR anticipated release yet..😊

Despite the shadow that has rather been cast over the release, I am very keen to hear Stephen Wyatt's first Who script in over thirty years.

Getting everything (on CD of course) bar the DL only Short Trip
Probably most looking forward to Blake's 7 and Gallifrey Time War. Blake's 7 will be sad as it is the end of an era.
Will be interesting to see how they cover Paul Darrow's absence - will Avon simply be offscreen a la Dayna in Series 2 of the full casts or will they use some archive dialogue a la Litefoot in J&L Forever? I'm hoping for a few lines of archive dialogue, as I think that will give a greater sense of closure and conclusion.

February 2020 is Romana month.
4DA Series 9 Vol 2 & Gallifrey 3 for me.
After these, it is a bit of a dry spell for me. Nothing in March, April and June & only the Third Doctor in May. One of the drawbacks of cutting back.

Most anticipated is definitely 4DAs Vol 9B - so far I've only heard 'Purgatory 12' from 9A (I'm saving 'Chase the Night' until next weekend) and I loved hearing the full S18 team again. Nostalgia is one thing entropy can't touch - even in E-Space.
Also, I thought 'Gallifrey Time War 2' was a very good volume so Vol 3 is awaited with interest and of course, the BF debut of Martha is quite the event!
MR of course - a prequel to 'TGSITG' will be interesting I'm sure - but no idea where they'll take that story or make it fit with the history that Bellboy told the Doctor of what had happened.
And 12 is 'my' New Who Doctor so even in this 'Chronicle' form I'll give it a go - Osgood in the TARDIS for one thing!
And of course Frazer Hines performing the Jamie/Second ST.

All of the DW is pre-ordered. My list looks a lot like number13's - more 4th Doctor, Romana and Adric is the big event again with Gallifrey and Martha Jones and Blake's 7 next. Much looking forward to the 12th Doctor Chronicles as well.

Unsurprisingly I see Uncle Tom is still in the lead for most anticipated, with former travelling companions nipping at his heels in second place, a future companion settling into third position and a future incarnation slightly trailing in fourth.
A mere five votes separates the two Doctors.
Leaving the poll open for a bit longer, so if you haven't voted yet...

The Psychic Circus, Fourth Doctor's Adventures in E Space, Torchwood Dissected, (the last) Blake's 7 full cast and Dracula's Guests. Don't mind if I do!

I've pre-ordered most of these, but having Freema on board at Big Finish is the best news. I'm excited to have new stories with Martha Jones.
It even overshadows the long-awaited set of E-Space stories for me, if I'm honest, and I've been hoping eagerly for those since before Matthew Waterhouse first returned to the role of Adric.

I'm getting everything except Dracula's Guests (which I'll pick up at some point in the future, just not yet). I'm obviously excited for Dissected and the return of Freema Agyeman, but I'm also quite excited (while feeling simultaneously sad) for the end of Restoration. Blake's 7 looks like it might (understandably) be in limbo after this, so it's naturally getting mixed feelings, but the range is also consistently good so I'm very much looking forward to hearing it.

With Dracula's Guests dropping into accounts today the end is nigh for the anticipation poll. I'll close it off on the 8th February.
So far twenty three people have cast ninety four votes for their anticipated releases and as expected The Fourth Doctor reigns supreme with his annual adventures. But with Gallifrey and Torchwood hot on his heels and just three days to go..things could change..😊

Just how representative of BF's overall customer base are the DU's tastes?
