One question I have about the Doctor/Timeless Child. Are the two incarnations from RTD's Target novelisation of Rose, the black woman wielding a sword and a child in a wheelchair, pre-Hartnell or post-Whittaker? Porque no los dos?

I did revisit it today. As standalone I maintain it’s fine. It’s perfectly entertaining. Whittaker and Dhawan’s performances manage to sell the lore sequences and the Cybermen chasing the fam around is fine entertaining if not spectacular character work.
However it falls flat on its face. The conversation between the Doctors in the Matrix feels like its priming the Doctor to reassert her identity and find a clever way to stop the Master...but she doesn’t. Sure she talks the talk about not being broken, but actions speak louder than words. This leaves a bad taste.
Its not amazing but in spite of all the months spent discussing this thing I can’t deem it a failure either.

Just a random thought after watching The Mysterious Planet, but do we find out what secrets the Andromedan's stole from the Matrix in TOATL?

Just a random thought after watching The Mysterious Planet, but do we find out what secrets the Andromedan's stole from the Matrix in TOATL? Good question, it's pretty vague in Trial itself. Facts, formulae, figures... Information relating to faster-than-light travel and dimensional transference (i.e. the method by which a TARDIS can slip into the vortex)... When Glitz is talking with Mr Popplewick, the mercenary is under the impression that the master tape contains "all" the secrets of the Matrix (and there's probably enough there to keep a thief very busy), but the projection corrects him. The tapes contain "Phases 3 through 6" with the first two relegated to the archives, so the very ancient of Matrix secrets -- the prehistoric/primitive-era data, so to speak -- apparently never made it to the Ravelox tapes. What that covers, specifically, in terms of information is never clarified. My money's on the "current" information extending back the length and breadth of current Time Lord history with the "primitive" tapes covering the period before their establishment. Records from when they were solely Gallifreyans.

Just a random thought after watching The Mysterious Planet, but do we find out what secrets the Andromedan's stole from the Matrix in TOATL? It’s left very vague. I did throw a little hint in Gallifrey Historia’s coverage of the theft that the Timeless Child might have been among the stolen secrets...

Yeah because remembering The Timeless Children as i watched The Mysterious Planet, I suddenly thought, what if the info wasnt purged or wiped. It was transfered
