Nine days left of this month. With a lean selection for March what are you anticipating? April.

Oh, it is that time of month again? Well, starting with March, I have another 12th month subscription. So looking forward to the main range story. I also think that the Donna stories will be quite fun, since Katherine Tate is amazing. I am sure she can carry this. Anyone who does not think so should check out the Warhammer audio she did where she plays a battle hardened Inquisitor. And pulls it off. She could do pretty much anything. And of course I need my dose of fan-w*nky gimmicks, so of course I am getting River and Jack.

Looking forward to everything although there might be a few for March I may have to wait on a bit. I may well cave in on the Donna Noble set by the time it comes out though, it sounds like fun and great talent writing too.
Mostly looking forward to the Main Range release, the First Doctor Adventures, and Captain Jack. Those are all pre-ordered already.
Maybe that little bit of a backlog I've started building up will come in handy for a lean month, or at least what's going to seem lean because there aren't 4DAs again. :-)

1DA Vol 4 and ATA Girl 2 equally
Ancient Mariner (a new interpretation of 3rd Doc interesting)
DW MR Subterfuge (has the potential of putting every "future" Churchill story in a new light)
Lives of Captain Jack 3
(More Jack and Jackie)
I caved and got Donna on DL and I'm just Nat isn't as grating on me as Sylvia is!

It's always hard to pick with the months when you're getting everything and looking forward to it all, but I think my most anticipated releases are probably The First Doctor Adventures and The Lives of Captain Jack. The 1DAs have been very consistent in quality (with the exception of Tick Tock World for me) and have produced some of the absolute best stories in recent years with the likes of The Great White Hurricane and The Invention of Death, so I'm keen for more. I'm not sure why I'm *so* keen for the Captain Jack set, I just have a really good feeling about it.

Your daily reminder that the March Anticipation Thread is up and running.
Currently the Doctor and the Captain hold joint first place, but hard on their heels and just one vote behind is the former temp from Chigwell. It's a lean month for releases during March (so far..) so there is all to play for before we find the most anticipated...
After a comment this morning which gave me pause to rethink I'm going try something a bit different.
Voting will not close after two weeks, but will remain open until the end of the month in question. It occurred to me that while anticipating an upcoming release is one thing, you can change your mind along the way and anticipate a release you hadn't given any consideration to listening to. A good example of this is Adam Adamant Lives - I had already decided I wasn't going to buy it, but after glowing reviews on websites and from others here on the forum my opinion has shifted.
Once a day I will post a reminder that the thread is active. And it will only be once at day, because as far as I am concerned the Anticipation Threads are purely and simply a bit of harmless fun. There is no expectation on people to vote and nor should there be. The choice is yours.
That being said, those of you who can see the messages displayed on each and every post will notice I've added a bit extra to mine..😊

Getting most of them but to be more specific, my most anticipated is The First Doctor Adventures. The historicals have been first-class, it's a feature of the early years I'm very fond of and it's great to see it continuing 50/50 with the science-fiction stories in these new sets. And 'Return to Skaro'!! That title is all the anticipation I could possibly want from a 1DA.
And a very close second comes Captain Jack. Thinking of the Hartnell-era stories and then what Jack/Jackie/River might get up to between them shows the huge variety that is all still Who and BF. Great isn't it?

Getting 1DA vol 4, Donna, Jack and Subterfuge.
Only 4 arrivals this month, should keep the wife happier.
Most looking forward to Return to Skaro, followed by Subterfuge

Your daily reminder...and what a difference a day makes.
In the race to first place Captain Jack has romped ahead, with the Seventh Doctor two votes behind in second and Donna two votes behind him in third place. However an unexpected surge in voting has David Bradley's First Doctor hot on her heels in fourth position with just one vote between them...

First Doctor Adventures is far and away my #1 most anticipated for March. I continue to be floored at how much I enjoy this range.

Daily reminder time for the March Anticipation Thread...and while Captain Jack's third Volume is slowly edging away from Seven's monthly adventure and still maintaining the top spot, Donna's boxset has narrowed the gap so that just one vote separates the second and third places..
