Don't see how any TV show can be made under current circumstances. How can everyone keep 2 metres apart? Exactly. Or as Barnaby Edwards puts it..

Don't see how any TV show can be made under current circumstances. How can everyone keep 2 metres apart? It will be tough - you're effectively rewriting decades worth of habits and practices in a matter of weeks. There's been a number of discussions going on for the last month or more about the hows. Here's one from a group of producers at Screen Daily:
Also, thanks to the Brig for bringing up Barnaby's thread, as someone posted on there about how Neighbors is beginning to resume - using smaller units and breaking up the filming way more. Likely, Eastenders and other shows of its ilk will likely be copying that. How that can be upscaled for bigger shows or movies, like Marvel or S13... jury's still very much out on that.

That link doesn't work. But I find it a bizarre decision. Some things have worked during lockdown like ITV's Isolation dramas which face the unique challenges of making programmes during lockdown but also commenting on it. The only way soaps for example can continue would be if they were dealing specifically with lockdown. How can any real drama be made with social distancing in place? & what if you work on a TV show that is going back into production but don't feel it is safe to do so? Can you refuse? Will you lose your job?

That link doesn't work. Try it now on my original post.

Alongside previously discussed plans like self-makeup and floor markings are also minimizing stunts, prioritising outdoor shooting and local crewing.

Thanks Its odd that major production is slowly waking up and there's no mention of EQUITY or SAG Unions its all been left to the individual production company's to decide how to proceed. Regards mark687

I don’t tend to get involved in spoilers and whatnot, but there was a documentary on ITV yesterday celebrating Bradley Walsh’s 60th birthday (Happy Birthday Bradley!) and it said he has more Doctor Who episodes to come, as well as a top secret drama.
It’s most likely nothing, as I doubt a glorified clip show would have any insider information, but the comment caught my attention. I think he’s brilliant, so would happily have him on board for another series.

So they could appear in the special, then a couple episodes of Series 13, and still have time to film everything else (once things start filming again).

www.radiotimes.com/news/tv/2020-06-17/doctor-who-social-distancing-guidelines/I had wondered about this🤔 If it does take a while for them to be able to film series 13 I think they should seriously consider doing a multi Doctor zoom special with 13 and her predecessors saving the world and bickering while social distancing 🤔 That way After the Christmas special there would at least some new Doctor Who tv content in the meantime and we could have something unique and fun as well!

I thought this would happen. I will just have to wait longer for my Doctor to return.

I’d like to think if there is a considerable delay, they’d split the Series in half or something. Probably not though.

So, I said I wouldn't, but I think this is an acceptable exception, as it's a similar show: Canal+'s War of the Worlds has started filming on Series 2 and director Richard Clarke (Doctor's Wife) is keeping a running log on what it's been like.
I think stuff like this helps give us some more meaningful and direct ideas, as opposed to a bunch of guidelines, on what filming on S13 could look like.

Well, clearly the BBC have aired some of S13 early by mistake - as the Jo Martin Doctor and Captain Jack both showed up in the middle of tonight's Holby City! Of the one scene I saw of them together, she refers to them having a past, implies he's a promiscous scoundrel, tells him she'll be keeping an eye on him - and he puts his hands up innocently, smiles, salutes her and says "Yes, Doctor.." as she walks away. Magic.
