Over in the "Our Health" thread johnhurtdoctor suggested we start a listen-thru to get us through this extraordinary global self-quarantine. barnabaslives responded reminding us how fun the ones were in the past. I think it's a great idea! Who's in? and we need some suggestions. Here are some thoughts: Cybermen stories (To link to the finale of the show); Seven, Ace and Hex; EDA (We can choose to do only the Lucie Miller stories, only the boxsets, or all of it); River Song (including her appearances in other ranges than hers)... Oh, maybe a Torchwood listen-thru? Those are just some ideas off of the top of my head on a late night. Anyone else have any ideas, please share.

*raises hand* I like the Cyber-marathon idea. The first hundred Main Range stories are a comfortable couple dollars/pounds, so it'd be easy enough to fill some of the gaps. The list would look something like this (not counting spin-offs, which could be added):
Outside of that... Maybe a pure historical or pseudo-historical binge, counting stories set before the 20/21st century?

The MR cybermen stories would do for me. Got them all apart from the last one.

Sounds great everyone. I know when me and Omega organized them before, we found that doing it ever Sunday worked best for some odd reason, but it was also made so that everyone had the whole week to listen.
P.S. I would never say no to a Torchwood listen through either.

Just let me know and I see if I can find the time- sadly plans at work change all the time and now I am basically there full time all the time since I am the last full time person left in my department (to think 2 days ago we made plans so that people are only at work half of the week and have to take holidays, now unthinkable). I might pretty much have to work until I drop from the virus. But then, well, on the plus side, more time for BF and listen throughs.

Great list @wolfie53. Ok, so lets go with a Cybermen listen thru. So now for some dates. I also like the idea of having a Sunday discussion every week on that week's listening, however if we want to give people a whole week it means we don't get to the first one (Sword of Orion) until 3/29. Do we need a whole week for the first one? Or, those of us who can fit it in, we can do an optional discussion of the Cybermen series this Sunday in preparation. What do you all think?

Sounds good. A sort of pilot run for the whole thing. The extra time for Sword of Orion will let me do something that I probably couldn't do with the others as well. I'll dig out my copy of Justyce Served and do a bit of research about the original 1985 version to add to the discussion. It's got a few interesting details and differences that I think people will enjoy contrasting and comparing.

It's very well-constructed and the disc that comes with it includes a lot of remastered images and music. A lot of familiar names turn up too. Both in-universe and among production staff (including Nabil Shaban tangled up in the Gunpowder Plot for Second Solution).

I've got a link to the original Sword of Orion (I think) if anyone wants it.
