Well now...it's been a few years since I've been on Twitter, but if anything was going to draw me back in it would be something like this. It's tempting. In fact for the £1.89 it'll cost me on Amazon Prime it's very tempting...🤔

It’s still a great episode, easily one of the all-time classics of Who. There’s some very fun behind the senses anecdotes from Curran, Smith and Gillan, and some more poignant notes from Richard Curtis on the story’s inspiration on Twitter.
Also here’s a good casting suggestion from Matt Smith-

Also here’s a good casting suggestion from Matt Smith- Bill Nighy would be a great choice for the 14th Doctor!😀 Think that boat's sailed for him to be The Doc now he's into his 70s but he was first choice in 2004, with Hugh Grant then turning it down before RTD offered it to Eccleston. Would love to see what Who would have been in those alternate-timelines.

That is still an extraordinarily powerful and moving episode. It's just really, really good drama. It's actually an episode that got a bunch of us in my group of friends to open up about our mental health problems and talk to each other about them. We all felt that the understood and felt the story more because of our own (in my case thankfully quite minor) difficulties. I think it's an extraordinary piece of TV drama, with just beautifully judged performances.

Hello again.
Love this one, as a member of the bipolar commmunity, I can really identify with the suffering of Van Gogh which is sensitively handled by Mr Curtis's excellent script. Tony Curran is so effective as Vincent, the regulars are wonderful and Bill Nighy's cameo shows what a super actor he is, understated, but just right.
The direction and the beautiful countryside really set the scene. Vincent's house is so well realised and the monster is an interesting creation that reflects the themes of the episode. I am looking forward to reading the twitter feed.
The ending is played perfectly, it reminded me of the Don McLean song Vincent, " but I could have told you Vincent the world was never meant for one as beautiful as you...
