Announced in this month’s DWM, the next volume of Eighth Doctor: Time War will feature Davros, played by Terry Molloy. Davros will be found living a totally happy domestic life on peaceful planet Skaro, meaning something’s gone wrong with time (presumably as a result of what the Valeyard did at the end of Volume 3). Into that enter the Doctor and Bliss and eventually the Daleks emerge.
1. Palindrome by John Dorney (two-parter)
2. Dreadshade by Lisa McMullin
3. Restoration of the Daleks by Matt Fitton

Sounds interesting. I'd like to think that they'll have recorded a little sneaky cameo of Julian Bleach for when the War gets set back on its proper path and Davros is returned to his crippled state, but I know better than to hold my breath on that.

Never mind Davros, they’ve got Ken Bones reprising his role as The General!

Never mind Davros, they’ve got Ken Bones reprising his role as The General! Oh wow, I should’ve looked more closely at the cover. Julia McKenzie’s credited on it too, so guess the Twelve is making a return.

Never mind Davros, they’ve got Ken Bones reprising his role as The General! What? Where's the cover? DWM? ETA: I'm so excited! If there's one thing I've been hoping for from any of these Time War sets is more Ken Bones as the General!

I am glad to hear that Davros will be in this. I had expected him in The War Master 4.
If he had been opposite Derek Jacobi I had imagined it would be Julian Bleach, but Terry Molloy seems appropriate for the Eighth Doctor.
Now will Mr Molloy get his photo on a cover as Davros without all that makeup!?

Here it is- It's a nice homage to Bleach's Davros too, using the New Series Davros body with the Molloy head superimposed on top.

Boo! WE WANT PESCATONS! WE WANT PESCATONS! (Interesting, though, that Davros is back. I was wondering whether he might be popping up in the next 3rd Doctor set, as one story features Daleks and the other features Terry Molloy, and when somebody wrote into the podcast suggesting 3 vs Davros Nick Briggs didn't automatically rule it out).
[More importantly, those whose copies have already arrived - have you made up your TARDIS?]

Notice that Rasmus is in it played by a different actor and Jemima Rooper is back with BF for her second audio after Izzy’s Story.

I’ve been critical of this strand of the Time War previously, including Bliss.
However, I must say I do like the sound of this set. It reads as though it’s coming direct from the events of the third one and sounds like it’s forming one bigger story, with the Daleks removed from the universe and the Time War seemingly over. I thought the War Valeyard was a great concept that wasn’t as well executed and needed to be a two parter, so I’m happy that it sounds like the events of the story are being expanded upon.
Just reading the brief synopsis and I feel that it’s going to be a more cohesive set and something more than the weird juxtaposition of a relaxed Doctor in lighter stories that force the Time War into them.
I’ve been requesting Ken Bones as the General for a while now and I’m chuffed that Big Finish have got him on board. I think he’s great and it’s another actor that can be used for some War Doctor stories, if BF ever decide to do more stories with that incarnation.
No disrespect to Terry Molloy, but I’d have preferred Julian Bleach. Terry’s great, but I love Julian’s portrayal and this is one of the few instances he could reprise the role. Still, Davros is great and has been lacking in the Time War, so I cant complain too much!
