(No, I didn't remember that one either, but apparently it's got the chopped-up Dalek in it)

I'd say that's one of the most memorable eps of the era with it being the only Dalek one, Ryan's dad and.....the amazing microwave.

Glad to see the old show getting nominated for something - well deserved.

Hello again.
It was a strange episode for me. I felt the scenes in the café seemed to really detract from the ongoing action of the story. That whole subplot could have been dealt with in a different episode. I was much more interested in the possessed archaeologist well-played by Charlotte Ritchie and Nicholas Briggs's scary Dalek scout. I loved this aspect of the story, Jodie's Doctor starts to show her inner steel behind the rainbows and enthusiastic smiles. I hope it does well, it's nice to see it get nominated. Did Classic Who ever get nominated or win at the Hugos?

Bernard Lodge won the RTS Television Awards for Graphics. The Writers Guild of Great Britain awarded Best Children's Drama Script to Robert Holmes, Malcolm Hulke, Terry Nation, Brian Hayles and Robert Sloman in 1975. So, if you ever wanted to use the phrase "award-winning science fiction series" when talking about classic Who, you definitely could.

Very well done to the show for continuing to get nominations. It's well deserved and I think Resolution is a great episode and it looks brilliant. I do think The Mandalorian is the worthy winner, particularly for its finale, which is the best of the season. I won't go into much detail, as it's still three weeks away from its UK release yet (Episode 5 landed today, which weirdly enough, I thought was easily the worst - still good though!), but it's superb. The show is looking amazing in 4K too. For those interested, check out the virtual production of The Mandalorian. Interesting stuff and a new landmark for film making.
