This is technically part of the Lockdown tweetalongs, but is probably significant enough to justify its own thread. So...a final farewell to Sarah Jane.

Of course...19th April. Nine years to the day.
Suspect I'll have to schedule a session of onion chopping around 5pm tomorrow..

This will no doubt be very emotional. I'm bracing myself already.

That made me tear up a bit. There, I said it.
This was a lovely "send off" for Liz Sladen.

To be honest, I thought that was a bit saccharine for my tastes.

As a kid of the generation who grew up with the Sarah Jane Adventures, I can’t describe how beautiful that was! That ending....

I cried from beginning to end. I was not expecting the cameos, and I loved every one of them. I was really expecting Jason to do his 11th Doctor during this, but I'm actually glad that he didn't show up. It was just beautiful.

{Spoiler} Wait, Tegan and Nyssa are a couple now?
Well, this was some food for the soul.

{Spoiler} Wait, Tegan and Nyssa are a couple now?
Well, this was some food for the soul. {Spoiler} Not in that way, I don't think. In any case, how could Nyssa get back to our universe when she's trapped in E-Space. Unless it takes place in an alternative dimension. Either way, I've always thought of Nyssa and Tegan as just best friends. Old female couples could be just friends and not in a romantic sense. Tim.

Yeah, I’m not buying into Tegan/Nyssa, mainly because it contradicts Big Finish stuff and I don’t see them as anything but close friends. But I guess that line is open to interpretation.
Otherwise, I thought it was a great sendoff for Sarah.

Wait! Dodo's in this? Odd. I gathered she died in 'Who Killed Kennedy'. Tim.
