Mods - feel free to move this thread if it turns out after Monday lunchtime that this isn't a TV project and ought to be somewhere else.

One of the worst elements of Nu Who gets a spin-off?[/quote] Well, yeah, but that's just a different name for the question. My guess is {Spoiler}that this *is* in the wrong place, and despite it being trailed on the BBC Official DW Youtube page without any mention of BF, it's actually going to turn out to be the Big Finish Exciting Adventures of the Metacrisis Doctor, on the grounds that the's basically the same as the 10th Doctor but that he wouldn't row back on the whole defiant-trampling-of-time-beneath-his-feet thing.

RT doesn’t say where this got that clip from? It’s not on any official outlets.
I’d honestly assume this is fan project.
EDIT: My mistake it turns out it is on an official channel...Big Finish. So it’s an audio thing.

Edit: It was on BF's Facebook feed, but it didn't get cited as a BF thing.

I am very confused now. The TV Facebook page doesn’t tend to repost Big Finish’s teases of announcements (only proper trailers really). 🤔🤔

(Gosh, all this anticipation. We could be looking at another "Class"!!!)

A darker Doc series would be too risky now I think perhaps even more interesting it looks like it will have books associated with it.
Oh hang on Pete's World 10th (not Dark as such but rougher round the edges?)

From the title you'd think Tennant but the font and the Crack say Smith.
Maybe a What If scenario with the 11th Doctor going all "Full Fathom Five"?

It’s certainly intriguing. I’ve noticed DWM have got involved too, so it’s looking promising of it being a multimedia project.
At this stage, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s something RTD & The Moff have knocked up during lockdown. Hints of The Waters of Mars / The End of Time and the Crack in Time - they’re all from a consecutive run of stories and cover both showrunners tenures.

Yes I'm starting to wonder the same, the hook being who came up with it rather then what it is (I hope I'm wrong in thinking its just Mr Dudman in the cupboard reading new stuff from RTD and SM) Regards mark687

If there wasn't a book I think it was more of what we've been getting recently, but that would suggest something bigger.
