I don’t really understand your post. It’s an immersive theatre experience and it’s fully BBC licenced and has already had involvement from Jemma Redgrave & Ingrid Oliver in promotional material, so the recent teases about the experience haven’t come from nowhere. Time Fracture isn’t directly a part of the TLV project and would exist if TLV was never a thing. They’re just putting a character from TLV in there as a crossover, in the same way they might have a Big Finish Easter egg or use John Barrowman, etc. As for success, if you’re talking about TLV, then I’m not really sure how that would be determined. It’s a glut of material, but the only really specially commissioned items feels like the two books. Everything else is the usual product the licencees put out with different branding. We get special releases from Big Finish all the time, Defenders of the Daleks is another Titan miniseries, DWM replaced its usual current Doctor format for three issues, etc. I suppose the only way would be to understand if sales were on par or exceeded the other Doctor Who product of that licencee. There’s certainly nothing to determine it wasn’t a success.

It was a great PR effort that can't really be as successful as envisaged. Regards mark687

Presumably you’re referring to the Escape Room as well as Time Fracture. They exist regardless of Time Lord Victorious, so it seems odd to determine the success of the project based on those. They will be treat as their own thing, given that’s what they are, and I’m sure they’re very much taking real world situations into account. Indeed, if they thought Time Fracture wasn’t going to be successful due to the pandemic they’ve had plenty of opportunities to cancel or change things, just like every other business in the world!

Fair point I am making the assumption that Time Fracture and The Escape Room would've made the biggest comical success without the Pandemic and I'm surprised they haven't delayed further. So I saw the image of the time fracture project that John Barrowman shared It looks like David Bradley is back as The First Doctor and it looks like Either Tennant or a stand in for 10 or 11 is there

Brilliantly put together, thanks sherlock! I'd love to tackle that at some point, but for now I'm looking forward to a runthrough of The Waters of Mars, the two books, The Minds of Magnox & Echoes of Extinction; Ten's run basically. I think there's mileage in that and then dovetailing into Eight's story, Nine's, the Daleks, etc. It's not the running order above, but I think with the main TLV story consumed the foreshadowing works well and it becomes obvious where the different elements slot.

Now that I've (mostly) finished TLV (aside from listening to The Minds of Magnox), I feel I can offer up my opinion of the event overall. I do think it was an interesting project, but I don't think the execution was quite there. Having the books being the main chunk of the actual TLV was to the detriment of the project as a whole - the comic strip and the audios felt a bit superfluous and weren't really that important to the overall plot. I get why they did it that way but yeah, it didn't really work for me unfortunately.
Still, I think the individual stories were strong so I'm grateful for all the time/talent that went into this project. Hopefully if they do another big event spread over different media, they'll use TLV as a learning curve.

I've just started on All Flesh is Grass but wasn't sure where to slot The Minds of Magnox in? I reached the start of Chapter Four that said, "It had been a long few weeks..." and just assumed that was where it went. I'd heard people say "after the battle of Mordeela", and this seemed to fit the description. If there's a more obvious point to slot in though, do let me know Anyway, I liked Magnox (and the vinyl design is gorgeous!). It was more Brian's story than the Doctor's, but I quite liked that. I don't know if Brian survives TLV or not, but I'd like to hear more from him in the future. I'm sure someone somewhere probably has plans And the coda on the CD version was a really lovely touch (I'm reliably informed it's also been uploaded to YouTube officially by the Doctor Who channel). After the frantic pace of the first three chapters of All Flesh, it was nice to slow things down a little with Magnox. I guess it's time to finish the novel now so I can round things out with Echoes of Extinction (which I should hopefully receive my copy of in the next few weeks! ). If we get our vinyls of "Echoes" before our cd version of "Masterful"... something is really wrong LOLZ
I just realised that this actually happened!

Finally had a chance to listen to the last BF instalment of this series. I stand by my initial assessment, this was a gigantic swing and a miss. Honestly if anything of this nature is attempted again, I will be taking a pass.

His behaviour may have changed, but not for the better. After seeing how he behaves at conventions I have no desire to ever see him again.

He was acting pretty creepy in the autograph line and during his panel you could tell it was a slightly toned down version of the stories you hear of his on set antics.

That was the same year I saw him at a con. I didn't see any creepy behavior, to be honest.

I just realised I don't even have my "dispatched" email regarding "Echoes of Extinction" on vinyl. So it's just Amazon that have mailed out, no one has their copy from BF direct yet?
