When I first saw the news about this I thought it sounded great. Then I read about it and feel a bit disappointed that there isn't more info regarding the releases. I'd like to follow the whole story (as much as physically possible, so probably audios/novels/comics/whatever-I-can-actually-lay-my-hands-on), but I'd have loved something a little more concrete on the schedule. At least we know about the two (BBC) novels (story count: 2), that there will be at least two Big Finishs (story count: 4), almost certainly two comics (one from Titan, one from DWM) (story count: 6), at least one audiobook (the BBC Audio contribution) (story count: 7), at least one other novel from Penguin Random House (story count: 8), maybe another VR game given Maze Theory's involvement (story count: 9), and Time Fracture which I've just found while doing a quick Google search on "Immersive Everywhere" (https://www.immersivedoctorwho.com/) (story count: 10). Looks like there'll be some figures with the involvement of Eaglemoss Hero Collector too. Sounds pretty expansive and awesome when I put it all together like that!

Going by what Scott Handcock's said over in the updates thread, that the story builds the more you experience, I wonder what format the finale will take? If it's all building, it must all build to *something* in particular. I wonder what form that final story will take? Audio, novel, comic? Or, impossibly unlikely, maybe a short TV special? (I know, I know, but I can dream )

Sorry to keep going with the numbers, but on DoctorWho.tv it states
Time Lord Victorious will launch in September 2020 over twelve weeks, with products and experiences releasing from September until January 2021
Sorry, but that doesn’t add up.
From the end of September to the beginning of January is more than twelve weeks.

Then read the novel whilst listening to the BBC audiobook reading.

It's hard to be too nitpicky without knowing all the full details (I wish they'd given us some more concrete news and tidbits), but it's a shame to see the War Doctor overlooked, particularly as this is spanning different medias, so there's ample opportunity for some War Doctor content without the need for the late, great John Hurt.
One small thing that I love is they've seemingly altered the Eighth Doctor's Time War outfit to blue and brown, much like DWM did with his TV Movie costume back in the day.

He he he, the comments under the Sun article has called out the writer of teh article by name for getting it wrong. But let's hope we're wrong, and they're right.
(Actually, don't tell anyone, but Ecclestone's definitely going to be in it, playing the Rani and Omega. But ssh! It's a secret!)
(Hmm... cinemablend's poll is a dead heat between 'definitely yes' and 'definitely no' at the moment - I'm paraphrasing what the two categories actually are, but there are two further options to vote 'no' against as well, so 'no' ends up with 2/3 of the vote)

Thank you for the response. I was a subscriber to DWM, but the current incarnation doesn’t hold as much interest for me. I saw that Russell T Davies and Steven Moffat were interviewing each other in the latest issue, so I did investigate buying it on the app - but I didn’t think £8.99 was worth it! That seems a lot of money - I could buy an audio download for that price!

Hrm... I suppose I'll see about reactions. Thus far I've only gone in for TV and audio. It's always been something to be performed, for me.

So does anyone have any thoughts as to why Time Lord Victorious was announced when it was?
It has been a fortnight and I haven’t seen any further information or announcements from any of the participants in this, so I am left to wonder why they decided to announce this so far ahead.
There doesn’t appear to be any leak that had to be plugged in advance, so I can only imagine that they thought it would be fun, during lockdown, to announce something that Doctor Who fans could look forward later this year...I guess I have answered my own question.

Was going to make a post saying that I expect they'd announce more in the next DWM but I guess not ETA: Also seems like Maze Theory won't just ben doing VR anymore. www.maze-theory.com/news-update-may20 But if this is for Time Lord Victorious or not we'll just have to wait and see.

So the Tenth Doctor on a crusade to stop death existing, and coming into conflict with his past selves.
Pretty promising premise.

Both of the novels sound good and we’re beginning to get a better picture of Time Lord Victorious and its premise.
It’s all the more strange that the Big Finish product didn’t have a detailed announcement when TLV was first revealed.

Well I must say those novels sound interesting...now the first question is will there be audiobooks of them? And the next question is I wonder which if his former selves is which in the synopsis for All Flesh is Grass?
