Quite happy about this to be honest. While I personally usually prefer CDs to downloads, I can only just justify the £20 cost of the full cast vinyls from ASDA or Sainsbury’s. But £20 for a one hour audiobook is a bit much. Although the Audible version has the typically steep price point of Audible, I think they purposely overcharge to get people to subscribe instead, I think they charge £5 or £6 for the short trips and those are all less than £3 direct from Big Finish, but this is a topic for a different thread. Long story short, what I was going to say was that I think I’m going to have an Audible subscription for a month to get this, just took me a long time to say haha

Coukd I get this on the free audible trial and then keep it? (i.e. legally not pay at all)

I have only ever used Audible for my free trial when The X-Files: Cold Cases come out and it's in my library still. Just downloaded via the app and listened to the first 30 seconds without any issue.

CD, vinyl and download for it then. The CD and download having an exclusive coda but the vinyl doesn’t is a bit of a stinger, though.

I don't suppose anyone knows whether I can pre-order The Minds of Magnox in Australia (CD and/or vinyl)? I'd particularly like the vinyl version and it always makes me nervous when items like that aren't immediately available to pre-order in Australia - you never know when something like that might suddenly become a limited edition and you miss out.

You would think JB Hifi - as they are this countries' monopoly retail store .. But nope..
Best bet is to hook up with UK people you trust and get them to purchase then convert fund$ over to them. That's what I have done in the past.

JB get very, very few Doctor Who products that aren't DVD/Blu-ray. I don't think they've ever stocked the majority of the soundtracks. Honestly, I'd be stunned if they said they were stocking this. I'm hopeful that Amazon will put a listing up eventually (I think the second novel only became available to pre-order in hardback a couple of weeks ago). As for asking UK residents to get them for me, I'm afraid I don't know anyone there personally, so there's no one I could ask to that sort of thing for me.

I don’t mind helping out; just let me know. I’ve helped other fans overseas in the past, including tuigirl recently.

I don’t mind helping out; just let me know. I’ve helped other fans overseas in the past, including tuigirl recently. Thanks for the offer I'll send you a PM if is gets close to release and no Aus listing has appeared. There probably will be one eventually, it just makes me a little nervous that most other places in the world can order these things and I can't yet. I ended up spending far more on the complete recordings for one of the Lord of the Rings movies on vinyl from an overseas seller because they were very limited editions and the Aus listing didn't appear until very late in the day. Once bitten, twice shy and all that...

The listing reveals the next Thirteenth Doctor story though - Tenth Doctor, Sea Devils, Skithra, Tesla and an (alternate universe?) Rose Tyler! Just throwing everything at the wall there!

Four sets from Eaglemoss then; three Dalek sets and a Tenth Doctor set. I’m assuming they’re going to be monthly from October 2020 - January 2021.
It’d be nice if Character Options jumped on the bandwagon and did a set of the Doctors (and maybe Daleks too) as part of their exclusives with B&M. I could picture repaints of the Eighth & Ninth Doctors, with a retooled Ten in the Time Lord getup.

Skarologists, is Time Lord Victorious the first time we've seen the classic blue-and-silver colour scheme on an official post-Time War Dalek? I ask because I can remember over a full decade of fanmade computer-generated animations and stills with that design (most distinctively here). Seeing it finally make the transition from cool hypothetical to bona fide empirical is rather cool.

I don't generally collect figures because I know how quickly I'd clutter my shelves if I did, but those do look very nice - I like the touch of making the gun/plunger base blue as well. Don't think we've seen that kind of Dalek patterning either.
