Oh also looking at the DOTD sale I realized something about the Time Lord Victorious teaser/range image... Billie Piper being pictured means she's probably involved, doesn't it? Like she's not usually on covers if Rose appears but she's not involved - they had to take her off second editions of the Ninth Doctor novels because of image rights, no picture of Rose on Night of the Whisper etc. (But I say probably because she is on the Titan Comics covers.)I think there was some issue with using her image before. As far as I remember her contract gave her the rights over the use of her image on Who products. The upshot of that was that they couldn’t use pictures of her on stuff unless she approved it. I don’t know if this is still the case (as you said, she’s on the comics) but maybe the fact that she’s on the promo poster for TLV might indicate that she is a part of it.

There’s a tease of Time Lord Victorious in the latest podcast. Nothing too detailed, but little briefs of what to expect for each story. I like the brief of Mutually Assured Destruction being Doctor Who does Die Hard!
The Delgado Short Trip will tie in with one of the McGann releases, but apparently it’s something you’ll realise after listening and both are standalone in their own right.
Alfie Shaw’s praise of Jon Culshaw implies he is going to be considered a recast for the two Master’s and I think is another bit of evidence that he’ll be playing them in Masterful and the UNIT audiobook.

Good for her. I think it's wrong to use the images of any of these actors if they're not actually involved in the audios (for example, Eccleston's likeness on the Ninth Doctor Chronicles). It comes off like a sneaky move to trick the less attentive customers.

It comes off like a sneaky move to trick the less attentive customers. I mean, William Hartnell hasn't been in any of the audios where his face appears! And none of the Doctor actors have been in the Short Trips... So as much as I'd love to see a picture of Nick Briggs dressed up like Eccleston on The Ninth Doctor Chronicles, I don't think it's going to happen.

I mean part of the parcel of being the Doctor means you give up the rights of your likeness in official BBC (or Licencee's) productions. It's not like Jodie Whittaker, or even necessarily her agent, would look at every single T-shirt, mug and Calendar her face is on. If Big Finish said "The Ninth Doctor Chronicles Vol. 1 with Chris Eccleston" then yes, that'd be a blatant lie. But they also make it clear that it's not actually Eccleston reading.

I know that Titan has it as an alternative cover for their first comic, but I really hope that the final Big Finish audio will have the initial promo image as the cover.

Announced Doctor Who: The Minds of Magnox.
Timelord-007 - Add to basket, pre-order, proceeds to checkout, presses send.
Jacob Dudman is the narrator you more or less have a full cast drama as he's brilliant at voicing characters.
Anyone know this a 60-70 minute story or longer?

The bold cover design with the menacing glam rock/Eddie Izzard version of the Tenth Doctor is really quite compelling.

I don't think BBC Audio has published an original audio longer than that since the Tennant years, so that's my guess.

Agreed. That's one of the best covers I've seen crop up on a Who release in a good while.

Something that I might pick up just because I love the idea of Brian, the Ood Assassin.

Something that I might pick up just because I love the idea of Brian, the Ood Assassin. I think 8 meets him first as in He kills me, He kills me not according to the credits a chracter called Brian is in it.
