Oh dear. I must admit I was never the biggest fan of The Ultimate Evil but I did enjoy his various radio plays he wrote over the years such as the Burglars series. RIP Mr Daly.

Hello again.
My first memory of Wally K. Daly was when BBC Radio 5 began in 1990. It was a spy thriller called Orphans in Waiting. It was really exciting, as you, like the children featured did not know who to trust. Then I heard Nightmare World and the Before the Screaming Begins trilogy on BBC Radio 7 as it was then. The latter featured Who Alumni Patrick Troughton and Maureen O'Brien. I enjoyed these radio plays and also enjoyed the novelisation of Ultimate Evil

Sorry to hear this. A respected writer, Wally's Doctor Who story was just one of many things he did. How lucky we were that via Big Finish, we at last got to hear his tale.
