Whether it's something rare or not, what's a favourite tie-in item that you have? For me, I have a couple of figures from the 1994 Shadow movie (very underrated little flick), like Shiwan Khan and Ninja Shadow, as well as the backing cards.
Also, bit of a cheat, but the Batman Returns game on SNES. Just a satisfying beat 'em up and probably my most played SNES game.

I got the original Tron movie novelisation when the movie was released.. Numerous Batman/Robin/Superman glasses from McDonalds/Hungry Jacks as movie tie in promotions..

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

Crikey, where do I start...
My eldest got me a facehugger plushie a few years back. I've put that in a high place in my new study. Nothing could possibly go wrong there...
I have the Tom Baker "Action Man" toy that was released way back in the 70s. Damaged a bit but some repairs have been made over the years.
My grandmother bought me a Death Star playset for my 9th or 10th birthday. It's the hemispherical cardboard one that's about 60cm across so you can play with your action figures in it. It's quite dilapidated these days but it's still in the box it came in (also in poor condition).
I've got a modest collection of original Star Wars action figures, including two pre-ESB Boba Fetts. However, my orginal C3PO and R2D2 are my pride and joy.
My wife wangled an Avengers movie poster from the publicity guy at her old work (it has the original Australian release date on it, before it got pushed back a few days) and got it framed for me as an anniversary present back in 2012.
Many, many books related to movies and TV shows (actually, my collection of favourite tie-in merch for literary properties would be even longer). Some favourites include The World Of The Dark Crystal (beautiful coffee table art book) and a book I won in a competition that celebrated 50 years of Mickey Mouse.
My all-time favourite, though, would be the life-size Pink Panther I won on a TV competition back in 1977. He's a bit over 5 feet tall and I'm trying to find a suitable spot for him in the new house because he's not in the best condition these days, either.

I have a storage shed chocka block full of various collectibles I have been collecting since basically 1981. (nearly 5 years now with the storage shed,my boy is nearly 4). Had to get the shed to convert the bedroom to his nursery. I had E.T. merch, A Team, Knight Rider etc . I have forgotten a small portion of what I have collected I think!

Yeah, this is just the stuff I’ve kept because it meant a lot to me or was a particular favourite. These days most of my fandoms are literary so I do bookish things more than tv/ cinema.

My local independent bike/toyshop had a clear out of his storeroom back in 1986, and had two copies of the Denys Fisher Fourth Doctor figures, at £2 each. Naturally I bought them. I still have them boxed as bought, though I opened the bag of one with the hat, scarf & sonic and quickly lost the sonic, so learnt to keep them packaged.
I also have the Century 21 Record 'The Daleks' which is the soundtrack of episode 6 of 'The Chase'. That was a prized acquisition at around the same the time period too, plus the first Dr Who Annual.
A decade ago, I bought a couple of books by 'The Goodies' at Oxfam. Unbeknown to Oxfam, inside one was signed: 'Goodie wishes, from Bill Oddie, (and) Tim-Brooke Taylor & Graham Garden (different pens). Back in the days when people signed with Biro instead of clumsy thick felt tip marker pens - likewise my copy of the 1981 Doctor Who Quiz book, signed by Tom Baker inside, when he was still current in the role (I acquired it a couple of years after the event, but in later years was able to match his biro to his signature, which has not changed except for marker pen simplification in latter years. I was never sure back in the day, but its too accomplished and accurate to be a fans attempt).
Another Oxfam surprise was when I bought a VHS of Deep Purple Live - Perihelion, quite cheap and found on getting it home, that there was writing on the inner cover, initially to my annoyance, until I studied it. Signed by Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Steve Morse (with a little guitar motif sketch), Ian Paice & Jon Lord, all in different pens and handwriting, so quite authentic. A post gig purchase and signing copy no doubt. Why do people chuck these things away?
Never been one for autographs or meeting idols myself, but it's nice to find out by accident that something you get hold of, unexpectedly turns out to have been in their possession briefly.

Aside from the various bits of Doctor Who / Dalek items I own, I have a few unusual items from other shows:
There are probably other things scattered here and there.
