Trailer!
So far the Capaldi episodes haven't shown up as Amazon Video giveaways, but fingers crossed all the same.

Hello again.
Now I'm probably in a minority of one here. I found this one a bit of a challenge. It just left me cold. Yes, it was clever, Peter Capaldi is as compelling as ever but I just found it a bit meh.
On second viewing last year I could at least see what Mr Moffatt was getting at. However, it just didn't grab me.
I do hope the 99.9% of fans who did enjoy it first time have a good rewatch.

So excited for this one! One of my all time favorite episodes of my all time favorite Doctor! I love how mysterious, creepy, and oddly heartwarming this episode is! A true masterpiece! 😃

Be interesting to read any comments SM makes in the Date Scene and Barnyard scene and of course find out if he deliberately wrote himself up a blind O Pink ally, and if he didn't what forced the change. Overall its Capaldi's first settled really good performance that sells this EP. Regards mark687

Hello again.
Oh definitely a great performance from Mr. Capaldi. I find he makes any story, even Kill the Moon, which was another story I just didn't get, extremely watchable.
I love his era, because it is so different to the two preceding Doctors. He is Mr Grumpy and it was brave of both Mr. Moffatt and Mr Capaldi to create a Doctor who was prickly and took a while to get used to humans.
His treatment of Clara in his early stories really put off my girls from watching. However, you had to stick with it and unlike Colin Baker, Twelve was given time to change and develop.
His Doctor didn't care what you thought of him. For him the guitar and the sonic shades were to annoy others who thought such trifles were beneath an advanced alien of his age.
The Twelfth Doctor's three series are never dull, because of his strength of Peter Capaldi 's acting. Even that awful theme music is purposely astringent to let the viewer know this Doctor has real attitude.
