With all of the expandable universe spin offs, what do you tend to lean towards?
I like Torchwood, and I'm trying to get into Faction Paradox.

Er, everything!
Although some of it I haven't gotten to yet - for instance I want to wait until I'm done the Faction Paradox arc in the EDAs before I check out their spinoff stuff - and the Benny New Adventures are on the shelf, ready for whenever I get to the end of the DW ones.
But I've also read the first Lethbridge-Stewart novel (and loved it - the second is also on the shelf, waiting patiently for me) and have heard the audiobook of the first Time Hunter. Erimem's solo series I've yet to check out, but the first book is on the ol' Amazon wishlist!
Then of course there's all the BF spinoffs - Gallifrey and Jago & Litefoot are my two favourites there but there are so many others worth checking out as well!
And, yeah, Torchwood has some great stuff too but I've only seen the show once and heard the first six audios.
So much to read/watch/hear, so little time!

I've been into Doctor Who for a decent while now, and I'm always discovering new spin offs, or spin offs of spin offs.

Big Finish. Definitely Big Finish. So you only do big finish? Also reading through the comics. But I never got into Torchwood or Class or Sarah Jane or the books during the wilderness years, although I dabbled a bit there. Not a fan of the Faction Paradox. Oh, I also painted the figurines, if that counts. I am also not massively into the Gallifrey audios or UNIT. I do however like Jago and Litefoot, the Paternosters and of course River.

Well, I followed (mostly) all the TV spinoffs - Torchwood, SJA, and Class.
Big Finish obviously. I tend not to be all that interested in tie-in media and expanded universe stuff, so I have not dabbled in novels, comics, or whatever else, and likely never will unless Big Finish adapts them.
Within Big Finish, I've found Gallifrey and Dalek Empire to be really excellent additions to the universe, and I look forward to trying some of the others like Jago & Litefoot. These days there are so many spinoff box sets being produced, I try to limit myself to something that has TV roots, ie Torchwood and Class. There's no way I can afford to keep up with everything unless there's a mega sale.
