It's always possible, of course, that Peter's role in the story is significantly bigger than Colin's... Still......not very nice though

Couldn't be fascinated enough by the trailer. Rather not speculate further in case of... spoilers.

Seems like it will be fun I always assumed they only met the once but I really enjoy the River Box sets and I will enjoy how this will play out given what Tennants Doctor knows of her fate and at least we won’t have to have him in her Diary entries

(it was included in Moffat's Day of the Doctor novel).

There’s a nice compiled behind the scenes to this release in the last 12 minutes or so of the latest podcast. Looking forward to this set very much.

There's a lovely writeup of this in the latest Vortex and a nice accompaniment to the behind the scenes in the latest podcast. They do mention the Fifth Doctor is a cameo and that there are other cameos in the set. Somehow I think they'd have been best keeping Peter & Colin's appearances quiet. I agree with previous posts that they should have done the same with Sylvester in Doom Coalition too.

Agreed given the story brief for the Ep in question it would've better to keep them as a surprise. Regards mark687

Seems I've either forgotten about this or completely missed it. But 10th Doctor and River is instant buy.

I wonder if Expiry Dating will be 10 and River's first meeting since the Library...

Seems alright. Certainly a different approach to the idea of a multiple Doctor story.

David & Alex sound so good together. Both trailers have given me a big grin on my face.
This has been on my Big Finish bucket list since the pair of them joined in 2015 and I’m so glad it’s happening. It’s one of those pairings that’s very fan pleasing, but doesn’t stretch the realms of possibility and fills a genuine gap.

I love how Alex Kingston gets two syllables out of the word, "yes," every time. Really looking forward to this... rewatching S4 lately, and it's really amazing--in retrospect--how tightly written it is--it's clear the plan for 10's regeneration were already in place before the Titanic crashed into the TARDIS. It'll be interesting see how well they manage to incorporate this set into that continuity, considering it's post-Donna 10. I just hope they don't do something like "Planet of the Dead" and just have Tenant play a "default" Doctor. Regardless I expect this set will be fantastic, I just think the main weakness of the 10DA's is that they've stuck to that "default" portrayal instead of leaning into the melodrama that made Tenant's run so compelling.

Thank you! I was trying to figure out how to articulate why I was surprised to find myself getting bored with the Tenth Doctor releases. It's about tone. The ones I've heard (Series 1 and 3 and Out of Time, plus a cameo in another story) have all been great. They told original stories with strong performances, but they also felt very safe in terms of tone (and for my ears, all a bit same-y after a while).
That's why I'm much more excited about the Dalek Universe series. That trailer *really* leaned into the melodrama and felt much more fresh and intriguing as a result. Who can say if the actual series will deliver on that tone, but for now, I'm ready for a change of pace. Again, it's not that I find what's been done to date to be unappealing. Instead, I think I've had my fill of it.

Ahahaha... yeah, I've had to think about it for a while. Tenant is probably my favorite Doctor to watch on-screen, but his audios just never clicked for me. I definitely think the lack of melodrama is the main reason (no last of the time lords, no lonely god, no wannabe human) but I'd say the absence of a Murray Gold score also affects theme. So much of what made 10, well, 10 was that bombastic, overbearing score that worked so well to heighten the drama of every scene.

Hopefully they delve into that now that we have what,. 10-15 stories now?
