Finished the Undying. Again, very interesting story. I thought it was very clever and the use of the „Big Bad“ was not as heavy handed as it was in the recent Torchwood Soho. Definitely a different species. Loved how this started out as a creepy horror tale and even through a few twists in there with a nice subversion of expectations. Also, the interaction of the characters was great and we get another great exploration of the relationship between Benny and the Unbound Doctor. So yes, very well done. Plus, it managed to get my mind off thing for a bit, so added bonus. So half-way in, and my expectations have not been disappointed. This really is one of my favorite BF ranges. Just because of the great writing, the clever and deep stories and the wonderful characterization. Plus Benny and the Unbound Doctor are perfect as the old bickering couple. Got to agree one where I had high expectations and for once they were met.Am sure you will adore Inertia😎 you mentioned something Torch or other what is that?disnae ring a bell that at all😉 Well I admit I fell in love with Sgt. Andy. I do not care that much about any of the other characters, beside Billis Manger Who is an awesome villain. Deadman’s Switch is now one of my favorite audios of the recent years. Torchwood Soho was alright, it was a bit of fun. I do not really care for the other annoying over the top character... but Andy is great.

Nope ....lost me never heard of it...it’s weird even on my listen to Stranded there were certain bits that just buzzed with static and two of the characters on the cover seemed very blurred 😂🤪

I hope Nightwingfan gets the chance to submit for more of Bernice and David’s Doctor...with a few more Scottish accents😎and a wee bit of rain🤪 Glad to say it’s BFs original range character that has given me the most pleasureable audio release this year .It should be a twice yearly event...but not if they sacrifice quality for quantity

Finished Inertia. I keep repeating myself, these stories are great and the performances are perfect. Even the soundscape is done just right, and the sea sounds really made you feel as if you were really there. This one even did spread a bit of Lockdown spirit... I agree with Causality, this should be a twice a year event- However then my fear would be they would water down the quality, and quality always goes before quantity, at least for me. As long as they keep the range as original and fresh as it is right now, I am very happy. So far, this has been my favorite release of the year.

I still wish they’d have stayed in the Dying Universe a bit longer. Nothing that”s happened so far needs to have been set in the prime universe to have happened - even Benny’s expert knowledge on the Ship of Whispers can be because the universes obviously diverged after it was launched (the point of divergence being when the Doctor arrived for his exile and in what form he arrived) so she’s know about the prime universe one and extrapolated from there and Benny’s interest in the Undying simply because she read something about him and was curious and their ability to get everyone to agree useful to the development of the safe zone.

I loved everything about this set. Every story was excellent. The writing, acting...everything. Kudos to you J.A. Prentice for a terrific story. Lisa Bowerman knows Benny so well by now. I think you can put that character in any situation and she will always make it feel like Benny. And she really goes through the ringer in this one. After I heard the first story I couldn't believe that they could keep the quality up, but they did. One of the best releases of the year.

I kind of agree that they should stay in an alternate universe... but hey no doubt the usual mining of who they can meet was behind the move..

Yep ....I do agree but the producers have been tempted ....would have been great for Warner to have met David Collings(RIP) version

It is easily sorted...wormhole -black hole- voila or ejection by Narvin Or character development for the Doctor to decide he needs to “Doctor Up” and help his universe not be so much of a shtihole.

Unbound River Song, 100% Doctor’s flirty enemy. Unbound Jago, Monosyllabic Accountant. Unbound Romana, Lalla Ward, but a vampire!

Unbound Liv would make a great foe Unbound Helen too there are so many variations one could come up with or an unbound universe where there is no eye of harmony to power the Tardis...

And I finished Gallifrey. I have to say this last story was the weakest of the set. Maybe because it was the most anticipated, so disappointment was pretty much guaranteed. The story just did not grab me. I also do not think that representing a whole planetary government and court in these audio dramas does work. At all. Having only a handful of actors available to represent a whole population does not work for me, it just feels empty and lifeless. I had the same issue with the supposedly universe shattering "Dark Universe" which just came across as a drizzle in a chamber pot. However, the solution and the ending of the story was clever..
I think where this set is strongest is with the small, character driven stories, and we had three almost perfect ones in this set.
In conclusion- I really loved this. I hope we get many more of these, this continues to be one of my favorite ranges.

I kind of enjoyed the empty lifeless and desolation of the piece I think it fitted rather well especially the courtroom scene I could imagine it so well -trial of `the Timelords but with dust and cobwebs and old decrepit Time Lords long past their sell by dates...

Took me way too long to actually start listening to this (I was sick). Have I Told You Lately? is such a Tim Foley script and I love the ideas that it plays with. The Undying Truth so far has also been really fun: corporate archeologists is such an interesting idea and this kind of feels like what Kerblam! may have been going for.
