Interesting timing for this Twitter poll
For me it got to be what you got in an MR Sub
Or Deleted scenes and Outtakes

I think free bonus stories is always going to be the way to go. The posters seem a little niche and the figures would be far too expensive for them to produce; way more than prints or the one-off costs of recording a bonus story and that’s just for a variant of an existing figure.
With the free story you feel like you’re getting something substantial, as it’s arguably a buy one/two/three etc get one free type offer, and Big Finish can create it and own it with ease and have shown that in the past.

It will never happen now but, the 2nd postage and handling charge to be removed.. The "per order" charge. an extra $11.40 on top of the other postage and handling charge.. The 20-30-40-50% off $ales now aren't really $ales for us non UK people.. Oh well..
And for a more well rounded reponse (Marketing Team I am looking at you).. Post this on the official website and your Facebook page..

Many of us deal with similar sized and smaller UK based companies which are able to ship their products without gouging on shipping fees. Sadly for those who like the physical product, I think you are stuck with the insane fees unless you want to order from Book Depository or other third party retailers. As for the marketing in general - I hate to say it, but BF has a terrible marketing strategy, it wouldn't surprise me if most of their newer customers are created by long time customers passing along a CD, I honestly can't see many customers finding them another way.

Yes.. The ratio of bought from BF direct vs Book Depository for me is.. well.. I only have about 300 cds in my account yet I have probably double that in physical cd's in my Batcave out in my backyard. Free postage and handling from Book Depo and just in general they are a bit cheaper. Don't get me wrong, years ago when they had $ales every week I was spending "Mortgage amounts" at a time - getting up to 30 cds at a time in the post.. When their are ranges that come up as personally signed I always get from BF and "wear the fi$cal hit" - and pre ordering the event stories like 10th Doctor and Legacy of Time etc etc.. But pretty much in general everthing else- Book Depo. It's a shame but, my loyalty is to my credit card first.

How about: scripts and extended extras, and bonus Short Trips with bundle purchases? I'm sure that would be very popular, in fact I'm sure I've seen it done before somewhere...
In all seriousness, there have been some real gems among the Subscriber STs, I hope we don't lose the chance for more with the end of the MR.

Id Love to have Full Posters of some of the story artworks but i think the extra story (Like Cuddlesome, No Place like home) is the better option

I would much prefer they build the Per Order directly into the shipping cost. It has always gotten my knickers in a twist to see two charges like that.
And as a bonus, art prints of select cover images would be greatly appreciated.

I'd love for the action figures to be a bonus with a subscription or whatever, but their international shipping rates are an obscenity so that comes right off the list. So I'm back to the default of bonus stories.

Flash Twitter Poll based on the option of Individual Covers
Obviously would forego Individual Covers for cheaper CDS

If I said a weekend with Alexander Vlahos would I get banned? Seriously tho - signed postcards would make a nice bonus, as much from one off guest stars as the main cast. In terms of artwork I would love something big and glossy in the style of a coffee table book for that. Maybe even a series focusing on all elements of Big Finish visuals including fan interpretations, alternative covers and the works. In the absence of that 10x8 cover prints would be very welcome.

Will the loss of the alternative cover now mean it will only be one piece of card i.e. not even a folded “booklet”?

Oh and I should have said - embrace their customer base and ask their buyers rather than a just the Facebook community.

Personally I wish they would embrace the Collector’s Edition CD concept and improve the packaging, not decrease it even more. Will the loss of the alternative cover now mean it will only be one piece of card i.e. not even a folded “booklet”? I stopped buying Big Finish CD's when their per-order charge made it extortionate for me to keep buying them, however I do think if Big Finish are going down the 'Collectors Edition' route for their marketing of CDs then make the product a bit more special than just a CD and a cover. So I'd keep the booklet, I'd also bring back the author notes/production notes and behind the scenes photos, then charge whatever it actually costs. Yes, it would mean the people buying the CD's pay a bit more, but to continue cutting stuff out of the physical product to keep the costs down while the PR Dept is calling them 'Collectors Editions' seems a bit silly to me. For me the CD is the premium product, the download is the bare bones product. Collectors want to feel the product they are buying is special but if the company producing them doesn't treat the product as special some fans could just give up on the physical release and go with the download. As for the topic of this thread; I'm not on Twitter but nothing is free... anything 'given away' to make people buy more would have to have the costs factored in somewhere.

True but we don't what % of Social Media Followers are Active Buyers, heck after 20 years we still don't know what % of Active Buyers make BF variable Going by the waiting time on the CD Backlog its bigger than I'd guess. I'd prefer additional audios as a gift. I rarely buy memorabilia and merchandise, I prefer the actual product. Most of that type of stuff in my house was given as gifts. I think a handful of NASCAR models are about the only thing I actually paid for. Anyway, in an ideal world I'd like something similar to the Main Range sub "free gift" where you have a choice of which release. Even if it was just picking from among Short Trips, say, I think that would be neat.
As for individual covers, well, I'm download-only so it doesn't really matter to me personally. I do think that if they're going to reframe the CD releases as a collector's product like the vinyl releases are, then they should probably look reasonably snazzy. I'm not sure penny-pinching is the way to go, but maybe the more premium type stuff isn't cost effective, I don't know.

Beautiful actresses make superb gifts. I would most definitely buy Judge Dredd and The Avengers if they gave me Sarah Sutton or Nicola Bryant or Katy Manning as a free gift. I'd probably buy Wolfboy and The Treason Show too.
Actually I buy all the Big Finish that I can independently of free gifts or perks although I did go through a bit of an OCD thing where I had to have all the Main Range subscriber bonuses, so that did motivate me to re-purchase some things that came without them.

Who, out of curiosity, purchases physical cd's from "other sites" (without mentioning their names) ?
