Guitar, hoody and shades back. Agree about the guitar but not hoody and Sonic Shades. Neither suit him - the hoody makes him look like a rebellious teenager and the Sonic Shades disguise his eyebrows.

Hoodie I like as long as he doesn't use the hood. And shades, not always. Just occasionally. When he uses the guitar, perhaps? No. Just no. Sonic Shades are better forgotten.

I wonder if we're going to see The Great Vampires make a return? Of course, treading upon Big Finish's development of them might be difficult.

I actually really don't want to see too much guitar and shades for Series 10, although I thought they were awesome. Mostly cause I love that the Doc's look is distinctly different year to year.
Namely: 8. Black coat, various shirts, Smith's screwdriver. 9. Black coat, hoodie, sonic shades, guitar. 10. Velvet coat, dress shirts again, new screwdriver.
So I'd rather see the guitar and shades appear briefly here and there more as continuity nods. Kinda like Bad Wolf. Everywhere in one season, mentioned and shown in passing a few times since.

A more even mix of 1 and 2 parters Returns for The Sea Devils, Weeping Angels and Ood Captain Jack and/or Missy to Return A pure historical or mystery episode with no aliens The recent events with Gallifrey and Rassilon to be followed up on A simpler, back to basics story arc A companion that breaks the trend of New Who, I don't want to see yet another flirty mid twenties all important woman from modern London Paul McGann

Both Captain Jack AND Missy need to return, preferably in the same episode.
K9 should return as a full-time companion again because he'd be a hilarious contrast for the 12th Doctor.
And it'll likely be Moffat's last series as showrunner so the final episode needs to be a celebration of his era: therefore UNIT, Kate Stewart, the Paternoster Gang, (as much as I'm not her biggest fan) River Song, Me, Missy, Clara, Amy and Rory need to feature in the same way Russell T Davies brought back Rose Tyler, Wilfred Mott, Donna Noble, Sylvia Noble, Martha Jones, Mickey Smith and John Simm's Master in his final episode.

The Black Guardian. I've wanted this character back for a while.

The Black Guardian. I've wanted this character back for a while. Only if the White Guardian returns also.

Moffat to leave. No Missy. No story arc. No Daleks or Cybermen. A companion from the past, or future. No hoodie, electric guitar, shades, or Sonic devices. No Vastra, Jenny, Strax, or River. No more Murray Gold!

What?!? The guitar HAS to stay. It suits the 12th Doctor perfectly as his quirk. Peter Davison had the celery, Matt Smith had the bowtie...why can't Peter Capaldi have the guitar?

Story-wise: - Continue the abundance of well-paced two-parters. - Missy, but in a way not centric to the potential arc as she has been for the last two series. - Return of UNIT and Osgood, hopefully in an story that would actually give them something to do. - Return of a classic monster like the Krynoids or the Wirrn. - A companion that isn't a 21st century Earth girl, or more than one companion. - No Daleks. Time for a break. Not even a cameo. - Gallifrey and the Time Lords should appear again, ideally in a bombastic finale that makes full use of them. - A pure historical. - Have the big antagonist not be a returning villain (like the Silence were, but y'know... better than series 6, obviously).
Behind-the-scenes: - Let Moffat leave after this series. Nothing against the man but it's time to bring in some new blood. - Get Charlie Brooker to write an story because THIS NEEDS TO HAPPEN. - Get Peter Jackson to direct a story because THIS NEEDS TO HAPPEN. - Let Brian Minchin write an episode too, the guy deserves it. - More Rachel Talalay please.
