Set during the gap provided by the end of the episode Rose: The Brigadier of the 1970s encounters the Ninth Doctor while the Third is away with Jo. The Doctor helps Unit with an alien menace hell bent on the re-ignition of the Time War. The Ninth Doctor and the Brig get on....too well, so much so that Alistair, realizing that their relationship ought to be more contentious, ends up having to keep the Doctor from going too far. There is even a bit where the Brig tosses away his gun and must take the role of pacifist to save the soul of his wounded friend. After it is all settled, the Brig doing the peacemaking and speech giving, the Doctor and the Brig share a moment, and instead of rushing off like he always does, the two walk off together, now that they can see each other a little more eye to eye.

Nice. Could imagine the final lines being something along the lines of: ‘Still no chance of a salute Doctor?’ ‘Don’t push it Alistair.’

Nice. Could imagine the final lines being something along the lines of: ‘Still no chance of a salute Doctor?’ ‘Don’t push it Alistair.’ Nice ending! Still on a big Nine kick. The Ninth Doctor detects a Tardis distress beacon on earth, signalling the death of its operator. He arrives at a funeral, and tragically, he is confronted by one of the mourners (Ian Chesterton) who reveals that the funeral is for Susan. She was recruited to fight in the Time War, but near the end she fled and hid on Earth, living with her friends Barb and Ian. Barb has long past, and weary old Chesterton is alone. Susan's death, of course, drives a stake through the Doctor's hearts, and it was untimely, suspicious. The Doctor and Ian seek out her killer. Seems very Series 1 to me. So much of Nine is Time War wrap up.

A trip back to the Second World War finds the Master confronted by a team of wartime superheroes. Heroes which history neglected to mention.
In order to stop these daring do gooders, the Master sets about experimenting on and transforming various citizens into acting as their own personal Rogues Gallery.

The Doctor gets a new companion who seems almost too much like the stereotypical companion archetype: plucky modern day London twenty something earth girl who has a crush on the Doctor. However as their adventures go on something seems increasingly off about their new companion, until it is revealed that their new companion is actually a new incarnation of the Master who purposely regenerated into what they thought was the perfect companion for the Doctor. The Master even created a fake work and home life, with people they hypnotized to be their “parents” and “coworkers”. The Doctor admits even though what they did was wrong the Master could actually make a decent companion if they were honest and didn’t try to control people’s minds and murder them. The Master also is surprised that they actually like their pretend life both on Earth and with the Doctor.

The Master assumes the role of a popular motivational speaker/televangelist in order to exert his hypnotic influence over the world. One person at a time.

12’s eyebrows become sentient. ... start wiggling at each other in a heated argument and accidentally cause a crisis on Delphon because the locals find them SO VERY LOUD!

The Lumiat Vs The Valeyard. With the Doctor and the Master naturally caught in the middle.
It’s so obvious an idea that, that’s probably why they haven’t done it yet.

The Valeyard vs The Curator is another idea

A story inspired by Shawshank Redemption with the Doctor. Not sure which Doctor I would want for this🤔
Side note: I kind of wish they did something more along these lines when 13 was in prison. Well either take inspiration from Shawshank Redemption or Paddington 2, either one would have made the prison storyline more interesting!

UNIT must stop a doomsday cult who, in an attempt to purge the world, have circulated a picture of a Weeping Angel online. I love this. Feeds into those "moral panic" urban legends you hear about teens playing death games or whatever, with a little bit of "Bloody Mary"/ The Ring thrown in. It's all a bit "2000s" of course so it should be set then. With Ten perhaps?

Probably be easier for the UNIT of that era to stop as well considering the limitations of technology at the time and the lack of social media. Would work as a Tenth Doctor story as well I’d imagine. Although I do have images of him crafting a computer virus which would redirect all the web links to photos of the Angel to funny cat videos instead.

Since I still easily think that Osgood is by far the most formidable thing about UNIT with Kate, it would be cool to see UNIT go up against aliens that have their own version of Osgood.
Unless it already happened and I forgot. Maybe it happened during that UNIT set that no one can ever remember listening to. :-)

The Doctor and a companion are on an extremely dangerous jungle planet in total darkness and must rely only on each other’s voice and touch in order to stay alive. If they stop holding hands or talking to each other they will die. I imagine 12 and Clara in a story like this since physical touch is such a complex and important thing with them that ties into their arch. I imagine there being a scene where for some reason they let go of each other’s hands and one of them gets chased by some sort of carnivorous unseen animal. Since neither one of them can see anything around them they have to try to focus in on each other’s voices so they can find each other before it’s too late. This would be an interesting story to be set early on in their relationship because it would show them trying to learn to trust and bond with each other again after the Doctor’s regeneration into 12.

In his attempt to ‘clean up’ a post Time War universe, the Ninth Doctor encounters a group of traumatised soldiers who are convinced the war never ended.
And woe betide the Doctor when they find out who he really is...
