Have we actually ever had a Doctor Who story set within the BBC studios? Outside of a Children in Need/Comic Relief sketch that is.

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

Fresh from the Time War, the Ninth Doctor seeks peace of mind in the fabled Shangri-La. Unfortunately, there is a serpent lurking in this garden of Eden... A serpent in the garden of Eden? That might be a Good Omen for why he chose his next face, then.

A reversal of how, especially in series 8, 12 was often very jealous of the attention Clara would get from other guys, and how he would get competitive.Where now 12 suddenly gets a lot of attention of a certain kind (for reasons) and makes Clara jealous and competitive against his admirers!

What do you think the plot would be? Not sure. If it were set in the early days of the BBC maybe the Doctor has to prevent the broadcast of a live television production which will have disastrous consequences for the human race in the future? These numerous acts of sabotage on behalf of the Doctor would mean the production crew would constantly have to improvise and work around these issues whilst the actors would try to remain professional.

A Diary of River Song story where, whilst on an archaeological dig, Dr Song would unearth what appears to be the fossilised remains of her own corpse.

Oh Dark but I can Dig it (I'm so Sorry) Regards mark687 It’s alright Mark, I’ll forgive you. Just this once though. Would make for an effective opener to a story I think. Even if it does turn out that ‘The Fossil’ is say an alternate timeline or Parallel version of River than the one we all know and love.

I Think it sounds similar to Alien Bodies with The 8th Doctor encountering 'The Relic" which is the final incarnations body Must admit I wasn’t aware of the novel but I do think the idea has been used in other science fiction series as well. Finding Data’s body in one episode of Star Trek I believe as an example.

The Doctor temporarily gets a literal green thumb where everything they touch with their thumb grows plants or flowers. At first it isn’t too bad and they try to use it to help the environment, but then things get out of control and they start sprouting flowers on their head and soon the whole TARDIS is an overgrown garden! Their companion must then work to find a cure for the Doctor’s green thumb!

I don’t know why but I need there to be a story where 12 goes full on mad scientist.

A story set during early series 8 when 12 still is unsure about hugging, 12 gives in and decides to give Clara a hug only to discover that they are now stuck together in a hug, physically unable to detach themselves from each other. Trouble is they must also stop an alien invasion!

The Nine Vs The Meddling Monk. I’m imagining the Nine breaks into the Peter Butterworth’s incarnation of the Monk’s TARDIS to ransack its contents.
The two get into a petty rivalry and begin chasing one another across space and time. Shenanigans ensue.

'Just look at me -her! Entombed for 10000 years and she still has great hair. Of course it's me!'
It would make a really good River episode, oh what a tangled timeline she has.

The comic strip "TV Action!", which teams Prunella Scales (as Sybil Fawlty) with Basil Brush. And, like the story idea pitched in the 1970s, it sees the Doctor meet Tom Baker...

I know Omega popped up in the Gallifrey range once but have we ever had a story where he meets Rassilon long after he was first imprisoned in the anti matter universe! I could imagine that would make for quite a effective scene as these two legendary Time Lords come to blows.
