A UNIT story where they find themselves attacked by Vampires. Can already imagine a scene where one of their number gets turned and Osgood has to work on a cure. Unless Osgood gets turned into a vampire? I think it could be interesting if Osgood got temporarily turned into a vampire and it made her have a total personality shift where stopped acting geeky and cosplaying as the Doctor and it turned her into an evil glamorous vampy fem fatal.

Could always take a note from one of the Fourth Doctor strips where, despite her condition, she is frantically searching for a cure and is desperately trying to resist and surprises her bloodlust.

True what if she kept a diary or made a recording about her transformation and search for a cure. I still could see a major personality shift happen in addition to searching for a cure. Maybe she’s conflicted if she wants a cure or not. What if her vampiric condition cured her asthma and made her not need her glasses anymore.

Could always do it in the vein of a video diary which the likes of Kate and Josh Carter find. Details her transformation and how she feels herself growing stronger. By the end of the diary, it would be revealed that she has actually developed a cure but the bloodlust has meant she now longer wishes to take it.

I've long wanted Kate Stewart to encounter a classic Doctor. Kate Stewart uses the space-time telegraph, only to end up with a different incarnation of the Doctor than she wanted. One historical figure I think is overdue is Alfred the Great. Alfred the Great has been mentioned by numerous incarnations of the Doctor yet no story has actually depicted any of their encounters.

The Doctor becomes bound to their companion almost by magic and now if one of them dies so does the other.

We mentioned before on this thread that outside of European mythology, there are plenty of overseas mythology from which Doctor Who could draw from. Here’s one which I think could be interesting. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kumiho

At first, I thought the concept might be too horrific for modern day Big Finish but then again they did release their own version of Damaged Goods so I think you could still do the idea relatively intact. Albeit with a science fiction twist.

Although certain characters would probably describe catching glimpses of a fox in the distance or something.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Light_PrincessA story inspired by the fairytale “The Light Princess”, the Doctor meets a princess who can only float and is not effected by gravity except for swimming underwater. However instead of trying to cure her of her condition, the Doctor tries to help her see the good in this uniqueness and perhaps takes on as a companion. I could see the Doctor being amazed and fascinated by the princess’s gravity defying abilities. It would be very easy to give this fairytale about a Princess who isn’t effected by gravity a sci-fi spin! Not sure which Doctor I would want for this though 🤔

This is probably almost too silly: The Master hypnotizes people with an evil disco ball at a night club. The Doctor of course is there, wearing what looks like the John Travolta suit from “Saturday Night Fever”. The Doctor, their companion, and the Master of course all have a dance off!
Not sure which TARDIS team and Master I would want for this but it would be hilarious!😁

I am surprised there has never been DW take on “Misery” with the Doctor.

There really needs to be a BF Missy Fairytale villain boxset! A whole anthology of her as the evil queen, bad fairy, witch, etc. in Disneyesque (complete with musical numbers) turned darkly comedic takes on different fairytales told from her perspective. It would really match Missy’s dark whimsical vibes!
