Ooh, with Bills Manger acting as the mysterious voice in The horror host/Narrator character’s headphones.

Box set premise.
Master! Vol 2
The Master manages to pirate his way into capturing a time vehicle in the vortex, but before he secures his freedom he makes a startling discovery. In a cruel mirror of the prologue featured in Storm Warning, the Eighth Doctor is frozen in a time loop disaster, doomed for all time, preserved like a museum dramatization. The twist is that (of course) the web of time is collapsing and there is no victory to be had if there is no universe. The source of the problem seems to emanate from the Doctor's current pet, a girl called Charley. How can he save the universe while still ridding himself of the ultimate nuisance? He'll need help.
1. Trial and Error. The Master manages to free Charley and the two are tasked with unraveling the events that lead to the destruction of the Sen-o Electrics Vortex Cruise Liner, the voyage that kills the Doctor over and over.
2. HEADHUNTER. Charley and the Master are transported to one of the last isles of existence: the Customer Service Depot of Sen-o Electrics. Management would like a word, if they have a moment, if they don't mind... and if they survive Hugh Mann's Resources.
3. House of Hades. The Master really isn't looking or feeling so well, so Charley manages to steer them to the isle of the Hedone Institute. She's sure there'll be no trouble, after all the brochure was so inviting! A highly advanced, futuristic health club at the end of time is just what the Master needs if he's going to recuperate and Charley needs him to save the Doctor (whether he likes it or not!). Unfortunately the accommodations, though beach-side, may prove to be to no one's liking, especially if Charley and the Master ever planned on leaving.
4. The Final Triumph. The Doctor is dead at last! All of time and space yield to the Master! So, why is he still afraid? And why can't he rid himself of an ear-worm in form of an old nursery rhyme from his misspent youth.

Great ideas you have here Magneto. Never imagined pairing Charley and the Master together. In such a hypothetical, would she know who he was or would he go under a different name? And I presume the description for the final proposed story would mark the return of Zagreus for a third boxset?

And I presume the description for the final proposed story would mark the return of Zagreus for a third boxset? Charley is still in her first arc, the web of time problem that ultimately culminates with Zagreus. She needs to get there. The disaster has interrupted an ordained journey which just makes things worse and creates these isles of evil which are warped, fragmented, nightmare versions of real places. The Master has to set things right (ultimately that's his arc for the set) but he has to figure it out. Charley understands what the Master's all about by the end of the first episode I think. A Zagreus appearance I suppose could be negotiable in the end, but I figure it would be a nice way to pay off the set. If you could milk it for volume 3, sure, but I figure it could wrap up in one when the Master resets the status quo.

We can end the tale with the Ainley Master frozen in cryogenic suspension under one of the attractions or with the reveal that the Master had placed the former owner there. Tegan or Turlough would naturally grumble as they load up on the pickaxes to go break him out.

The Doctor goes in a sensory deprivation tank and begins to have strange visions. Strikes me as the sort of story that would suit the Ninth Doctor. Recently regenerated, he attempts to recuperate and relax in the TARDIS Zero Room while the TARDIS is placed in orbit around a nearby star. There we enter a story of introspection as the Doctor dwells on his past and tries to confront some of his inner demons. Not to mention, the few shadows of a familiar antagonists that are still lurking within his subconscious.

The Doctor goes in a sensory deprivation tank and begins to have strange visions. There’s a Gallifrey audio along those lines for Romana and Leela, though the tank is a bit more sci-fi.

Now I’m just imagining the Deathworm Master secretly being a part of such movies as ‘She’s All That’ and ‘Can’t Hardly Wait’ with the secondary characters totally not being expies of actors of that era. But go on Magneto. I dare you.

But go on Magneto. I dare you. Master! Box Set Pitch (Volume 3 or 4? ) Krueger High School is on the verge of closure. Funding is scarce and the state views the malcontent students and underachieving scholastic program as a drain on the suburban community. A new hire is made in a final bid to save face. Considered a publicity stunt at first, the new guidance counselor very quickly begins to turn things around, much to the delight of the faculty board and the district. 1. Master's Paradise 1997-1998 School Year. Abigal is a brilliant but aimless student, and on the first day of her senior year, she aims to be no different. She is threatened with expulsion when a hazing nearly causes a fatality, and in her desperation, she is all too eager to avoid the consequences. She accepts the plea bargain offered to her by the new guidance counselor, who is starting a new academic program designed to reform the less compliant members of the discontented student body. He would like her to be its leader. 2. Never Been Bitten 1998-1999 School Year. Reporter Joan Tucker goes undercover as a student at Krueger High after a whistle blower (invalid Abigail who dies from complications resulting from her severe physical impairment) comes forward with an unbelievable story. She gets far more than she bargained for. (Think The Faculty meets Invasion of the Body Snatchers. The ending is a horrifying realization. Make your blood curdle.) 3.Teaching Mr. Masters 1999-1999(Christmas-Midterm). Three high school freshmen end up embroiled in an amateur investigation into the disappearance of Joan Tucker. They come up with an answer too crazy to take to the police without proof. They decide to break into the home of the man they think is responsible for it all: Principal (formerly counselor) Masters. (Teaching Mrs. Tingle is the guiltiest pleasure ever and the 1990s-est movie.) 4.Millennium 2000. The Krueger School for the Gifted is unveiled. God help us all.

I guess the end game for the Deathworm Master would be for the students at his School for the Gifted to become his sleeper agents? Come the future they’ll be placed in positions of power which he’ll be able to use to his advantage. Very much playing the long game. Naturally, the students will band together to stop him and the American branch of UNIT will have to step in to ensure that his presence at the school is kept hidden from the general public. And as for Volume 5, maybe he gets lost in the Multiverse? Meeting alternate versions of himself and the Doctor, could even throw in an appearance of the Gatiss Master.

I think that would be the general idea. It would come down to the wire of course. I envision this as darker than the average outing. I'd liken it in tone to the Master of Callous. Pretty mean spirited juxtaposed with the bubbly 90s aesthetic. Ya know, multiverse would be a great idea because there would be fewer rules and it would be a nice payoff when the Master escapes the vortex just to find out he's in a wiggly universe. You could turn that into several volumes potentially.

You could turn that into several volumes potentially. Most definitely. And who knows, maybe considering the period Klein could make an appearance and even offer a few of the students a job at UNIT? She was most impressed that they managed to defeat someone as dangerous as the Master. Then that gives us the chance for these characters to appear in future UNIT stories where Freddie Prince Jr or whatever ‘90s actor we could get make an appearance. The Multiverse would make for a good setting I think. With the Deathworm Master trying his best to get back to his home universe. Trouble is, navigating the ever expanding and almost endless Multiverse is a lot harder than navigating the Time Vortex. Could even hint that in the last story of said boxset, he manages to get home but it’s not quite his original universe. Merely very, very close.
