Apologies if there is a better place to post this news, but buried at the bottom of this freebie announcements is the news that series 1-4 are finally available to buy as downloads:

Finally! That's fantastic. Part of what's kept me from folding Benny into my listening schedule is the simple fact I didn't want to invest in $400 worth of CDs. Here's hoping that 5-11 go digital as well.

Just moments ago, I clicked on my saved link for "released but not downloaded" titles from BF, and was shocked to see a whole bunch of titles that I knew I owned!
Then I realized: OMG, they are FINALLY catching up with the digital releases of early Benny. I legally bought them all from BF on CD a few years ago, they are sitting in a box on the other side of my living room as I type this.
I've been expecting this for some time now, but I'm glad it finally is happening.
I have my own MP3 rips, so now I have to decide if I should replace them these from BF. In the end, I think I probably will.
And I'm glad this might open up the Benny Backstory to more listeners in the future.

Congratulations on making this happen, Big Finish!
I already bought the lot on CD on E-bay some years back and ripped them, but all day long I've been debating about whether to get these just for the joy and wonder of seeing them in my downloads folder.

Mine haven’t shown up in my folder yet (checked when I got them and it was in the date range - late 2008). Better chase it up.

I only had one of these on CD. (Back when I got a bundle of Ice Warrior stories and BF were kind enough to send me the CD since there was no download option and didn't even charge me shipping.) To see it in my app, I had to go my account on the website and click on "Rebuild Download List." It's the bottom option on the side under My Downloads.
I did order it in 2013 though.

I know aussiedoctorwhofan already posted the general news announcement here, but I thought it would be worth noting that hidden in there is the news that series 5 and 6 are now also available in download format.

I must confess I gave in to the reported resurgence of panic buying in the UK today... and bought the final few Benny CDs I needed to complete to the end of S6, in a panic in case they sold out!
They'll 're-press' pasta and loo rolls, but miss out on CD Benny and it's 'Bernice Summerfield and the Shelf Gaps of Doom'

The sales are ruining me.
So... what are the must-have stories on the crop currently on sale? I need, recs, people!
Also stunned to realize Oh No It Isn't! was, apparently, the first Bernice Summerfield audio they recorded. Lisa Bowerman sounds like she'd been playing the role for years.

She does just immediately nail the part, doesn’t she? It’s impossible to read the VNAs without hearing her voice. It’s as if the character was written for her all along.

they sure are fast at sorting out the download rights Seems more likely that they sorted them all out at once (other than Excelis) and are spacing them out to either get time to do the conversions, or to spread out the bandwidth bill.
