It feels far too soon to me to get matt or Jenna back. Yes we have the war doctor which was 2 years ago but that was a 1 off appearance and is pretty much a blank canvas. 11th doctor has a whole era already. Matt is busy trying to get that big post who role and Jenna has just finished and will most likely be busy on other things. I agree about Matt Smith but not Jenna Coleman. We already know she found it hard to quit the role and changed her mind two times during series 8 so it seems obvious to me that she'll do it in a (hopefully not the last) heartbeat. She's certainly more likely than: ...which is never going to happen considering Big Finish Productions wouldn't be able to afford an actor as big as Timothy Dalton. He'd also be way too busy to commit himself to an audio drama box set. Jenna has already got a few roles lined up. I imagine she will be very busy doing other things in the meantime. Timothy is only really busy on penny dreadfull. It only films about 5 months of the year. Gives him 7 months free. Its only about 3 to 4 days to record a box set. They have been able to afford some very expensive actors in the past due to how quickly a turn around the work is. Dalton could be the same

I don't know if Timothy Dalton would ever happen or not, but ever since Big Finish got John Hurt I've felt like no actor is definitely out of bounds for them.

Ohh a two hander with Hurt and Dalton, yes please. If not Dalton, maybe Sumpter? We know the Doctor will one day repeat faces, why not other Time Lords?

Cold Fusion or So Vile a Sin being the unannounced NA. Regards mark687 We don't know it's a New Adventure being adapted, just that it's a novel. It's highly likely it's an NA because that's what most of the previous ones have been. I can't really see So Vile a Sin being adapted, partly because it's quite arc-heavy and wraps up the convoluted Brotherhood/Psi-powers arc. Some writers of titles in the arc didn't understand it, like RTD with Damaged Goods. Cold Fusion is the clear favorite for that slot. It's definitely not one of the Eighth Doctor novels, Nick Briggs has ruled out any adaptions from there a few times. Besides, I can't think of any stand-alone stories from that range that would fit comfortably on three discs. War of the Daleks with extra-Time War-y goodness.

Or Strax.
" ... & Strax" could be its own series. For example, "Torchwood ... and Strax." Etc.
Go nuts.

Sigmund Freud and Strax. Iris Wildthyme and Strax. The Scarifyers and Strax.
Yes, this could work.

If he has any free time, I'll be surprised. He's a bigger name than John Hurt and that says a lot. Jenna Coleman, meanwhile, isn't currently as big a name and would likely be more keen to reprise her role as Clara than Timothy Dalton would Rassilon. I would absolutely love to be proven wrong about Timothy Dalton but I can't see it happening.

I would absolutely love to be proven wrong about Timothy Dalton but I can't see it happening. 2 live action roles in films and 3 in the last 10 years which 2006 tales of earthsea was the last time he was the main star (and that was a voice over role). His last film was 2012 and that was a 75 minute tinkerbell film 9th on the bill. There is his role in toy story of course but I don't think anyone can say his role in that is anyway major. The last one was 5 years ago and you can't really count the shorts or 30 minute TV specials as him being a major film as those aren't films. you can't really say Timothy dalton is busier film star than John hurt when in 2013 John did about the same amount of live action films that dalton did in a decade. I love dalton. He is my favourite James Bond but to say he is anyway busier or a bigger name film wise than John hurt is laughable. Jenna has already done a movie and is working on itvs Victoria since leaving. I'd imagine with her stock being at its highest seeing as she just left who offers will be flooding in left and right so I'd imagine she will be busy for the foreseeable future

I would like to see them release an app. I only buy the downloads and that would be very helpful. I would also love to see a wish list of some kind, like Amazon. They have so many good announcements, and I get excited but then my children distract me and I forget which ones I wanted to purchase. I would like to see them use American actors for an character with an American accent. I love BF but anytime they have a character w/ an American accent it's just horrendous. In this day of digital recording, can't they just collect all the scripts w/ American characters, book a day in a studio in the US somewhere, record all the lines, then patch them in to the various recordings? There must be a way ... One of the doctors has to get a companion that isn't a perky young female 20something surely? Beyond these I think everyone else has already mentioned all of the content predictions I can think of.

And I bet you could get Chris back as Doctor # 9, IF you went to him with a solid script (Could R. Shearman write him something?) and good co-stars (D. Warner?) he'd do it.

I'm not sure if it's likely to happen in 2016, but I wouldn't be surprised to see the following in the next few years.
-the Novel Adaptations eventually transitioning to a monthly range in a couple of years, depending on how popular the range remains (and if/when Big Finish is able to acquire the license for the BBC books)
-The first 50 monthly releases be repressed and re-released as special edition boxsets
-The occasional double disc release for Hurt's Doc outside the boxsets, maybe introducing a new time war Master.
-A 20th Anniversary release of some sort for McGann
-A larger amount of crossover between Classic and New Who, I think another Strax and J+L release is a cert, and I wouldn't be surprised if Tennant popped up in J+L or bumps into the 4th/5th Doctor at some point
-Rose and Martha releases for Tennant
-Mickey and Martha to appear in Torchwood or UNIT as recurring guest characters, maybe even give them a boxset or two in the companion chronicles
-I think Smith (and Eccleston eventually) will agree to do BF at some point, but in the former's case he hasn't been gone long enough for me to feel nostalgic about
-New companions for Tennant and Hurt's docs
-Maybe the lost stories range will get revived for New Who
-Torchwood Series 5

If you expect Christopher Eccleston to return to the role, you may as well ask for immortality.

Never say never I take your point about Tom Baker and Lalla Ward working together but the difference with Tom Baker agreeing to do Big Finish is that he played the role of the Doctor for many more years than Christopher Eccleston. It has been a big part of his life. Whereas Eccleston only did a series and therefore he's more likely to treat it as an 'oddity' in his career he doesn't wish to return to. Also: was Janet Fielding really that unlikely? I haven't seen anything anywhere that suggests she didn't enjoy playing Tegan.

Gary Russell asked multiple times and she repeatedly said no. It took till 2006 before she finally agreed to the gathering
