In DW if you make a wish on a shooting star it will come true! Of course it won’t be without it’s flaws and catches but it will come true! Sure but it'll probably be a living Paradox Star, feeding on the time energy as it pushes reality towards a timeline where you get what you want... That’s a great idea. Mind if I steal it for an adventure when I get my DW RPG back up and running?

Someone who has heard of the Doctor but never met them, travels to find them because it’s their life long dream to become a companion. The Doctor isn’t sure if they want to take them on, so the person has to prove they are companion material.

In one alternate universe, through a random quirk of nature the TARDISes developed free will and overthrew the Time Lords.
They now exist as crazed, voracious predators who roam the Time Vortex hunting time ships and other temporally based technology. Once caught, using their dimensionally transcendental nature they literally envelop and engulf them draining them of artron energy completely.
As such, on most developed planets time travel technology is deemed illegal. Although, naturally a few thrill-seekers/hunters still trespass in the Vortex hoping to outrun/hunt them for the sheer thrill of it.

Channel 5's "Hotel!" is a multi-Doctor story explaining what some of the other incarnations were up to during "Dimensions in Time".
(Conversely, "Selling Hitler" does not feature two incarnations of the Doctor, the Master, and the DJ, because that would just be silly).

In an alternative universe, the Time War was fought not against the Daleks but rather the Quarks. From all accounts it was a very brief skirmish.

The Master is secretly into role playing and cosplay, they do love costumes after all! Secretly? I've seen 'Time-Flight' Episode 2 and I don't think there's any secret about it!

An older and more cynical Frobisher once met Raymond Chandler and inadvertently became the inspiration for the character of Phillip Marlowe.
When informed of this fact later, Frobisher knocked back a drink and said rather dryly ‘Should have asked for residuals.’

Jo's expected* romance with Mike Yates never really got anywhere because she went off him after he pulled rank and nicked cold & hungry Sgt. Benton's cheese and wine in 'Day of the Daleks'.
(*Expected by the writers anyway. And probably by Mike too!)

UNIT was not disbanded because of funding issues (and the sake of a rather lame Brexit joke) but rather has merely had to go underground after a large majority of the higher ranked officers/their superiors were replaced by members of the Harmony Shoal.
With the aid of a sympathetic Zygon network, the likes of Kate Stewart and Osgood have had to stick to the shadows in order to discover just who has been replaced.

One of 12’s favorite movies is The Shape of Water, because the nice monster and kind human woman have a happy ending together and defeat the evil nasty human. 12 and Clara watch it a lot together, and according to him it’s loosely based on a true story about a cleaning woman who fell in love with a sea devil.

Not sure where this would fit thread wise, but I have not seen it before and it is just worth sharing as Patrick is so in character. Perhaps it is suggestive of a reunion between Steven Taylor and the Doctor, but not 'his' Doctor if one imagines? Something we could one day get with Peter & Fraser I wonder?

I’m imagining the Second Doctor accidentally arrives on the Blue Peter set (and in true classic series fashion) gets mistaken for the guest they have booked. The Second Doctor is amused and just goes along with it. Although he can’t help but feel Peter Purves reminds him of someone. And I don’t know, maybe there’s an alien threat at work they have to defeat. An entity accidentally drawn into existence or inadvertently channeled through one of the drawings the children have made.

The real reason Weeping Angels hide their faces all the time is because they are actually just really shy and awkward and get embarrassed easily around people. They just don’t understand why everyone is so scared of them!

In the Unbound universe where the First Doctor never left Gallifrey, the Master (played by Michael Gough) was captured before he could escape in his stolen TARDIS and promptly imprisoned in Shada.
