Well, as you can see I said it’s legit to offer an opinion on ‘what is revealed so far’. Of course it is, that’s all you have. But there isn’t much info, so I don’t feel it’s entirely fair to judge the entire series, let alone decide what the thrust of it is. You simply don’t have enough information. If you are deciding to skip something because of the content, it’s always best to make sure that content is actually what you’ve decided it is. You’ll appreciate that it can be frustrating when something like this (or indeed Shadow of the Daleks) gets announced and is immediately dismissed offhand for being something it actually isn’t. It is pretty common thing to do on a forum, also people make positive comments based on the scant information provided. That is the point of such early announcements to generate interest/speculation in an upcoming release, some of the positive comments made could equally be wide of the mark in terms of the release content. & if as you say it is perfectly legit to offer an opinion on 'what is released so far' then why respond saying "maybe find out a bit more". At this point I can't can I? No more has been released.I get that it could be offensive to a creator or someone with inside knowledge but, & I don't mean to be offensive (which of course is often the precursor to some offensive comment), this is a forum for fans of BF, there are going to be things said about the releases which creators will not agree with or find frustrating however when creators respond in such a way it gives the impression that they are very thin-skinned. In fact all I actually said was that this release is "not for me". I didn't say it sounds s**t or any other rude responses. From one rather innocuous comment this has grown into a bigger issue, which I admit I am contributing to, but I'm sure you can equally appreciate how frustrating it is for a fan to make a rather simple comment only for a creator to respond saying basically "ahh, you don't know what I know!". We as fans shouldn't feel that our responses our being stymied by a creator who critiques our response based on their insider knowledge that has, as yet, not been made public. Can you honestly say that you have never responded to the announcement of something, a film, book, an album, based on little information or just a teaser trailer for example? Well, you can find out a bit more. By waiting and seeing and keeping an open mind. If I see a trailer that doesn’t appeal, that’s what I try to do. I don’t write the film off instantly. Thing is - you’re slightly focusing on the wrong bit. The ‘not for me’ as opposed to the ‘nine hours of Daleks’. Which isn’t an opinion, it’s a guess, and one I was trying to (hopefully helpfully) correct. I never mind opinions, I’m frustrated by inaccurate details.

But that might be a good reason to try.

We are allowed to guess on here, sorry if it frustrates you but that's a valid part of a forum & others guess about this & other content all the time. Why single me out? Anyway, thank you for trying to correct me AGAIN. Probably best to ignore each other from now on.
