just an idea, but could this be what Louise Jameson recorded with David Tennant? She is in the prolouge, Ahahahahaha.... you're getting my hopes up, so high. Honestly just hearing the premise, "10th Doctor pre-Time War" just makes be soul-devouringly desperate to see Tenant interact with the Gallifrey cast. Bring on Leela! And Romana! And Narvin! And Brax! And, while we're at it, the War Master!

Okay that cover is gorgeous. I already preordered because more Jane Slavin as Ann Kelso is brilliant, but that cover just seals the deal (also being refunded $50 for a PayPal double charge helps).

The Dalek Protocol cover revealed. Gorgeous Cover not sure why we need another Sequel to Death to the daleks though as Day of The Daleks was the superior Pertwee Dalek Story

Got to wonder can anyone remember what happened in The EXXILONS release ?? Yes. Do you want the long synopsis or the short one? The short one is that it was mildly entertaining but didn't feature Daleks!

Got to wonder can anyone remember what happened in The EXXILONS release ?? Yes. Do you want the long synopsis or the short one? The short one is that it was mildly entertaining but didn't feature Daleks! And it wasn't set on Exxilon. And it took place long before Death to the Daleks. So we're still waiting for BF's first sequel to DTTD and since the City looks in good condition on the artwork, this won't be it either!
DTTD is a great story, my first ever Who VHS purchase in 1988, bought on sight in Woolworths! *hums scratchy comb music, waves draperies*

Guys...I lost a good friend on this forum because of comments that when you look back were actually nothing we all love audio some of us write it some of us listen but all of us love Doctor Who... seriously no ones ignoring anyone cannot wait till one day we all meet at a BF day.....hey some of us like Torchwood and even a female Doctor 😉🤪 And there is always the option to change one's mind. After all, I went from "This series is a load of cheap looking bullsh*t" to wearing THAT coat. I mean, the fact that it was a ''a load of cheap looking bullsh*t" is part of the charm and magic.

You need to be willing to invest in the time to learn to like it. Which I did in the end.

I was hoping for “David Tennant in Bandril Empire” myself.

More David Tennant at BF is always good for me. I grew up with his era of the show even though my favourite Doctor is Paul McGann. Ahh another in the Paul McGann Appreciation Society

Well the trailer is cool. I’m kinda meh on this. Never heard anything with Anya in, know nothing about Mark save that he would have existed in Nation’s Dalek spin-off and Movellans, Mechanoids and Davros have all returned a myriad of times elsewhere. Terry Nation’s mythos is just not that inherently interesting to me. I’m glad they’re trying to be more ambitious with what stories Tennant is doing, but this probably isn’t for me. I don’t even know what a Flash Gordon serial is. Also, isn’t the entire premise of this series the exact same as the premise of the novel Prisoner of the Daleks? Bit unlucky for Ten to end up travelling to the pre-Time War universe twice. I’d been hoping the story details (which have just been revealed for Volume 1, along with the cover for 3) would be what snapped me out of this funk and get me as excited as others are about this. Because it’s a full series worth of Tennant, my first Doctor and whose era I’m literally rewatching at the moment, so I should be in theory. Alas not. They seem a mixture of really generic Big Event slogans (“end of everything”, “Is the Doctor’s future never going to be the same again?”) and a focus on Anya, a character I’m simply not invested in. And I’m still not sure what this is actually about; the Doctor, Anya and Mark on a quest for what exactly? Unless reviews are amazing, I think I’m sitting this one out.

You will not believe how hard those synopses were to write without giving anything away. (Second halves of two parters are absolute pains). But - in all honesty - those reviews? They will be amazing. So no worries! I’m sure you’ll join us eventually. (Though be wary of spoilers).

Haven’t actually got round to Queen of the Mechonoids yet, but I’m very happy to see that River will be appearing in Volume 3. I think she’s fantastic with Ten, perhaps my favourite Doctor / River pairing actually, as you’ve not got the baggage of River not supposed to be meeting him, but you get the mystery and fun and the Doctor enjoying her company, but being completely wary. It also helps that Silence in the Library is my first thought when someone says “Doctor Who”!
I was hoping they’d get Julian Bleach on board as Davros. I do like Terry Molloy, but I’d love to hear Bleach reprise the role again in a nice balance between his two TV stories.
