Thatās a brilliant idea! I always thought there might be others living in the TARDIS that the Doctor didnāt know about, there plenty of rooms after all! Wasnāt that The Abandoned-Louise Jameson ?

Dark and spooky with a bit of magnolia I imagine there would be at least one episode set in a āhaunted houseā? I like claustrophobic and atmospheric and isolated but more on drama and less on humour (Only if itās used to ease the tension)and definitely no sending up of the show in anyway. I suppose I would give an extra bonus to anyone who can write Torchwood out of existence so what kind of show have I got so far....oh yep a bit like Tom Bakers first two seasons š

My era would be kind of the opposite, dark in places but with a lot of meta humor on the tv series itās self, as well as surreal and quirky( lots of eternals, animated episode, multiple musical episodes, etc.) premises but it would be balanced by a sort of grounded coming of age story arch for the Doctor and Doctor and Companion romance ( there would definitely be a bit of hanky panky in the TARDIS). I have never watched Torchwood, but why do you want to get rid of it? Also what would your story arch be like?

Ok there will be NO HANKY Panky...there will be a sexual hormone inhibitor as you enter the TARDIS š¤Ŗ No Musical episodes this isnāt BUFFY ...unless an excellent script for the Scorchies .....but the Scorchies are DARK so they would fit in. The story arc let me think about that one because letās be honest you donāt need arcs it worked well without them in the past but hey a definite end of series CLIFF HANGER ....

Could be interesting for tvš¤ What kind of villains and monsters would you have? Also would your Doctor stay the same the whole time or change?

Oh gawd Zagreus ...torture lol new enemies definitely and a definite memory loss for the Doctor no more being able to go where he likes I always preferred when he had no real control of the Tardis and made more sense that he couldnāt immediately go and fix some plot element he was at the mercy of the fates....I think Capaldi they missed a great thing when he said ā Does anyone know how to fly this thingā was looking forward to randomness and companions who could never be certain they would get home...so much better in my opinion.

The doctor can do what he has always done to the old GIRL. every adventure would be random as he has no control of the Tardis

Animated series for the 60th Anniversary, featuring all the Doctors, written as a round-robin.
That is to say, writing teams are assigned to each set of Doctors, then the script editor writes episode 1 and 2 as a two-part story starring the current TARDIS team. This script is then handed to the next writing team who pick out a place or a character or an element to kickstart a one-part story featuring another Doctor, and so on. Final episode is the current TARDIS team once more. Big Finish recasts used as appropriate.

Wasnāt that The Abandoned-Louise Jameson It's also in one of the Sixth Doctor and Charley stories too (to avoid spoilers I'll say... somewhere from between The Condemned through to Blue Forgotten Planet ). Said person has been inside the TARDIS since, at least, The Chase.
