Doctor Who (non Big Finish) purchases of interest include:
Books, DVDs, CDs, Digital Products, Toys, Games, Clothing, Accessories, Jewelry, etc.
My today's BIG book purchase was:
Doctor Who: Impossible Worlds: A 50-Year Treasury of Art and Design (Harper Design)
My understanding is that this book concentrates more on the post-2005 show than it does the classic era. It accurately being a "50-Year" coverage book is apparently a stretch. Regardless of me being more of an original series fan, I'm sure I will really appreciate viewing and owning this lavishly illustrated Doctor Who book.

Two copies of The Vault. Only a fiver from Amazon UK! Here in NZ it costs about $100! 83% off, what a fantastic price (and still current), I paid £20 in 2013 for my copy of The Vault. Last year's Doctor Who: The Secret Lives of Monsters (Harper Design) is also very high caliber.

The Secret Lives of Monsters is a flip through coffee table book - it is what it is. It's not meant to be a cover to cover scholastic read. This picture focused scrapbook features 14 popular Doctor Who monsters each treated as "real life" sightings with a behind the scenes section outlining their creation appearances on television. There is a lot of interesting information within this book. And yes, much like the Doctor Who television series, this book at times is young at heart.

Friday's purchase:
Doctor Who: The Two Doctors (BBC) CD
I haven't bought every Target novelization audio, but this one is one of the more special releases. Narrated by an actual Doctor (Colin Baker) and written by arguably the best Doctor Who TV writer Robert Holmes. Length: 5 hours and 22 minutes.

My last non Big Finish Doctor Who product purchase of the 2015 year:
Doctor Who: Full Circle (BBC) CD [Target novelization]
Read by Matthew Waterhouse and John Leeson. Time has healed my original lukewarm '80s viewing sentiments about Adric. Big Finish, bring on some Fourth Doctor adventures with Adric!

The local bookstore had three new 11th Doctor novels: Death Riders, Heart of Stone, and System Wipe.
So now I have them.

Bought some Fantom Films CD audios today: - Time Hunter: Peculiar Lives (8)
- Time Hunter: Child of Time (12)
- Who Talk: The Web of Fear Commentary
Even though, I don't usually utilize the DVD commentaries, I'm looking forward to what television archivist Sue Malden has to say about Doctor Who's missing episodes.

DWM comics The Cruel Sea (9th doctor) and The Eye of Torment (12th doctor). Waiting for Fountains of Forever (10th) and Conversion (11th). Very curious what happens to the Jones character. I assume they drop him off back in the 60's so hecan become David Bowie.

Just put my order in for the next three Lethbridge-Stewart books. The first four were good reads - shame that Nicholas Courtney didn't get to see them.
Too bad it is so costly to order directly from the publisher - it was substantially cheaper to get them through Book Depository.

Not a purchase today, but I now own all of the BBC EDAs through to The Ancestor Cell, I'm enjoying the literary adventures of the Eighth Doctor immensely.
Also recently bought a copy of the War Games, bringing my collection of Who DVDs to a ground total of...two!

Box set of the darksmith legacy from local charity shop. Slipcase is a bit battered but the books themselves are in mint condition. My young son is thrilled.
