The stories contained within your book (a World annual) are reprinted from the 1966-1979 annuals + The Amazing World of Doctor Who. Among those stories is The Sinister Sponge (1976) which will be released on CD audio next month! Thanks for the info! I was wondering what the source for all the stories were, especially since some are simply short stories and others are comics. It is rather an eclectic bunch And I noticed The Sinister Sponge in the contents list. It's got to be one of the most 'Fourth Doctor-ish' story titles I've ever heard Are they every story in the 66-79 annuals or just some of them? I've never even seen one of the annuals, so I don't really know anything about them.

There are PDF copies of some of these World annuals on the various classic Doctor Who DVDs.

Yes, I've read on the DVD cases many times that various pdf files are included on them but I've never actually looked at any. I might have a peruse next time I have the DVDs to hand

13th Doctor costume and wig for my Halloween costume 😀🎃👻I feel like I will be less scared of people jumping out at me if I am dressed as the Doctor and can just wave my sonic screwdriver or give a speech about how I’m the oncoming storm 😄 Can’t decide if I want to attempt a Yorkshire accent or not when the time comes🤔I suppose I could go to my many Yorkshire relatives for inspiration 😊 My Thirteenth Doctor costume arrived and it looks perfect and screen accurate!😀🎃Time to get wibbley wobbley timey whimey!😀🎃

So I won a copy of one of my absolute favorite books off eBay for $70. The one and only Lungbarrow is mine, all mine! I am literally squeezing right now and hoping it gets here ASAP!

And the seller offered to throw in another Who book that he had from a list for free, and on that list was Happy Endings! That's two rare ones off for the price of one!

Lungbarrow on its own would have been great at that price but this guy just wanted to get rid of another book because apparently he'd been attempting to sell Lungbarrow for over a year.

Oh well. Our loss is Newt's gain. 😊

My copy of the steelbook for The Specials arrived. Quite excitingly it's NOT just a repackage, but a remaster and with new features. End Of Time Parts 1 and 2 are now on the same disc, there's Dreamland and Infinite Quest for the first time on UK blu, and a 2019 interview with Tennant himself! Rather chuffed that this set is not just a repackage but a whole new presentation of the Specials year!

Out of pure curiosity I finally caved in and ordered the 6th Doctor DWM Comic Collection "Voyager". This one is supposedly better than the sequel. And it has Frobisher. All hail the big talking bird!!!
I am however really curious about Colin's own comic, the one he has written. Sadly it seems to be impossible to access. I wonder if they will ever do a reprint? But maybe the 6th Doctor is just not popular enough.

Another rare book at a deal that I just have to brag about because I'm so excited. This time it's The Dying Days from Amazon listed for $70 but due to having points to spend on Amazon I only spent $35. Also if there is anyone looking there is currently a $75 and $84 copy of The Dying Days on US Amazon.

I found three original VMAs today. I've never seen an original one in person before, only reprints, so I grabbed them the moment I saw them. I got The Eye of the Giant, Speed of Flight, and Burning Heart. No idea if any of them are any good, but at AU$4.50 each I wasn't going to complain (and they are a little weather-beaten, so the price was pretty reasonable). I've been looking in secondhand places for over a decade and never seen any of these, so trust three to all turn up at once
