Doctor Who Series 2 BluRay set.
I aim to watch these stories in series order, an episode a day. Series 2 is quite a biggie in terms of cast turnaround and I can't wait to get into it.

The Chains of Olympus
Continuing my trend of picking up DWM collections of runs I remember fondly. This one actually came from Scott Gray, via the magic of eBay, so is even signed. if you are into Who comics and artwork, Gray’s eBay is probably worth a look as he has a few collections and bits of Who art on sale.

DVD splurge- -The Ice Warriors -The Abominable Snowmen
I think this means I’ve got all the animations that have been done now.

Another dip into comic collections via eBay, this time ones I’ve not actually read before: Voyager. Time to see Frobisher in his original 2D form.

Using one last Audible credit before cancelling my membership, (cos I’ve got quite a backlog of purchases now) to get Engines of War.

At the convention, I supported the Who Store (Robin always comes over to Germany and brings along part of his museum of props) and bought some DVD. Carnival of Monsters and Planet of the Spiders. So my 3rd Doctor collection is nearly complete.

I had been wondering where the Warlord Games Doctor Who range disappeared to. A few years back, they did some advertising for their UNIT figures, even had Levine as an original cast member appear. And then the range disappeared. It looks like the range did not sell, and they lost the license. What a pity. What a shame. I was in the process of building up a classic series collection! I have been painting miniatures for decades now, it is my calm down hobby which helps me focus (and it also lets me listen to audios on the side). If anyone is interested, here is the link to the last chance sell out. Sadly, you are ONLY permitted to get ONE Who set with a 100 Euro purchase. Since I have been eying one of the Mythic Americas sets for a while now, I got that, so I at least could get the Night of the Doctor figures. eu.warlordgames.com/collections/doctor-who-the-end-of-time

CDF doc played a clip of that scene from The Name of the Doctor where John Hurt was introduced, and I got chills. So I immediately paused the video to order a copy of Moffat's Day of the Doctor novelisation, which I've heard good things about.

I had seen the episode maybe 20 times, but this book still managed to sound fresh and pull new ideas out of the hat. Magnificent writing and Moffat at the top of his game. I think you will like it.

To my shame I have to admit I have any seen scenes from Arc of Infinity. So today, I decided to close the gap in my collection and ordered the DVD.

Oh your in for such a good time Regards mark687 Well, I obviously have seen the clips that are on Youtube and I know about Colin playing Maxil. But that is it. Sadly, we are very underserved in Germany concerning Classic Who, since we also cannot stream it anywhere (legally)- my only option is to buy a UK DVD.
Looking forward to it!

Since I am enjoying the banter of the 5th Doctor team in the commentaries so much, today I bought the DVD for Black Orchid plus the Black Guardian Trilogy on DVD.. Maybe not the best stories. But as the commentary to Time Flight has proven to me- maybe still entertaining!
EDIT: and I got the Mara Tales, too, because, why not. Never have seen Snakedance either, so here we go.

You will enjoy them, I love the BF sequel to Snakedance.. Black Guardian trilogy - get ready for the big booming voice of Valentine Dyall. He was also "Deep Thought" in the always #1 awesome "The Hitch Hikers Guide To The Galaxy"
