Macra Terror. I love it to bits. It’s daffy, it makes precisely no sense at all and features three of the best “Doctor” moments - “bad laws are meant to be broken”, his verbal gymnastics to explain he freed whatshisface because he captured him in the first place and him working out the nature of the gas with some chalk and the read outs from some dials. It always seems to be overshadowed by the stories either side of it, Moonbase for it being a Cybermen story and the quintessence of the base under Seige story, and Faceless Ones brings it’s a double departure story.

That's them. It's not just telesnaps either, there's much more to them than a straightforward slideshow of photographs. Some stories have scenes reproduced in CGI for full-motion animations, others have completely reconstructed model work, and there are even some stories that have reshot scenes on location with full-sized props ( The Evil of the Daleks, for instance, has both a Dalek and Victoria Waterfield in the home they used in that story). Each story has its own unique bonus too, like Marco Polo is the only reconstruction that they did where they produced a version of it in colour. They're well worth the look. Wow where do I find them? Here is a good starting point.

Underworld is amazing. It really is. Never mind the wobbly CSO, just watch it and see the story. An entire section of Gallifreyan history unfolds and we never see it touched on again. Pity.

It’s a lovely story with some really nice performances. if I ever win the lottery I’ll be paying for it, Dinosaur Invasion and Dalek Masterplan to be animated. The first two so the story can shine without the rather poor effects overshadowing them and the later.... well, because it’s DMP.

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

I love Underworld, too. Thanks for bringing it up. I often go on about it so I’ve left off discussing it in this thread.

Quite a fun little feature on this site, where you can select either lone season/series, a specific Doctor, period of the show or even the whole lot, and rate them one against the other, in pairs, to establish your own favourites, in order. I was pleased to see Keys of Marinus as one of my 'against the grain' favourites settling high up. I found it quite clever and generally accurate, though the 11th & 12th Doctors threw up some results I was not wholly sure about, as the Algorithm picked up some inconsistencies and random selections in my voting. This is as it turns out that I have yet to see 20% of the Capaldi episodes about 5 of Matt Smith's tales too and have only seen quite a few others from their eras on transmission only. A second, more honest attempt at these two returned a more agreeable result. Though I am not sure how Earthshock only reached 9th place in my 5th Doctor rankings. Anyhow, lots of fun to be had here (though you need to screenshot your results if you do not want to lose your hard work list making) - it makes you take some hard choices as it will pit your favourites against each other, so many of those 'flawed but charming' stories will still work their way down the list if you are honest enough: metebelis2.com/revealer

Not just choosing between two classics, but also deciding which bit of rubbish stinks worse. Sometimes it would present two middling new series episodes I haven't watched in a decade and I had to go look them up! The absolute top end I think was pretty standard. War Games came in at #1, which doesn't surprise me. Pirate Planet, Enlightenment, and Androids of Tara were my top-ranked "weird" choices, but even they were down around the mid-60s. I suppose a couple of entries near the bottom of the list, such as Twice Upon a Time and The Doctor's Wife, would be more controversial, but that's basically the exact opposite of what this thread is asking for.
