Take all the usual fantasy material the goblins, ogres ,wizards and dwarves tweak them a bit to make them just that wee bit different . Tea Drinking Dwarves and action orientated Wizards and a great storyline adapted from a role, playing game you have Pathfinders a worthy set of tales for those who want to escape Middle Earth. I don’t read a lot of Fantasy tales but these adventures really captured me in that they can stand proud alongside the Gandalf’s Frodo’s and Gimlis.Great stuff.
I liked it better the longer length I must admit depends on the tale being told I suppose I would have liked longer in the Runelords realm
I never made it to series three, I thought all the tomb stuff Just stretched it too far........ maybe I should go back one day
Yes perhaps and I enjoyed series 3 too but I do not leave a thing unfinished if I can help it , I really enjoyed the tomb stuff this time around more than even before I guess my visualisation of the characters and setting has got more refined and a lot of the dialogue was great too.
