Bizarre how Big Finish seem keen to keep Tara King off the covers of the volumes which feature her!

Well the cover is an improvement over the last Tara King and Steed set.
But after the previous Steed and Mrs Peel cover, where Big Finish seemed to finally find the perfect look for these releases, they decide not to follow through with Steed and Tara silhouettes.
Personally I think it is a shame.
Oh well....Ian your needed!

Yes the cover for volume four was fantastic. This is easily the second best cover in the comic strip adaptations range, but it's a real shame there's no silhouette of Steed and Tara. I do like the fact Mother is included though.

I’m guessing it’s down to the fact that the silhouette is kind of the Steed/Peel logo, and the rose is the same for Steed/King.

Possibly. I don't recall the rose ever being a prominent symbol on screen during the Steed/King episodes, although I guess it may have been used in merchandising. The rose and the gun was a symbol for the colour Emma Peel episodes, but unless I'm misremembering that had been discontinued by the time Tara King arrived.

There’s one with cards in studio, and lots of roses in the one in the outdoors. Though there’s a rose on the cover of the Peel ones too... so that messes that up!

Haha, yes there were roses in the suits of armour opening sequence that was used for most of the Tara King episodes. I'm trying to think what would be a recognisable logo for the Tara episodes, but I'm not sure. Maybe the closest thing was the shield with The Avengers lion on it, although something similar was later used on The New Avengers!

Great work once again. I like how you have done the composition, but it does look like Steed is taking Tara somewhere she really doesn’t want to go!

It was only a very rough change idea, I'll do it properly when there us a better quality image to work with.
