Ooooh that trailer is makin' me excited... definitely curious to see how the 7th Doctor's role will play out, given his presence in the cover (and absence in the trailer). Especially considering how Sylvester McCoy just... does not seem to be very active, lately, which I might attribute to the remote recording, but I've also heard that Big Finish frequently records years in advance, so....
But, anyway, do y'all really think the finale will be contingent on prior stories? Unless they lead into it in MR 274 (which is possible, given its premise) I kinda expect it to be standalone. Though I'm also kinda hoping there aren't any prereqs, so to speak, because I'm not exactly up-to-date with the more recent end of the Monthly Range.

Okay, I admittedly melted and sighed a bit when I saw this alternate cover design in the new Vortex. Having been there at the beginning with The Sirens of Time, it was quite special to see this version as the perfect bookend. What a journey it's been (so far!):

The first MR releases began with a voice-over "And now the welcome return of . . . "
It would be nice if the last one ended with a similiar voice over

I wonder if that Sirens-esque cover will be the "era-appropriate" reverse sleeve on the CD!

The End of the Beginning.BOXSETS HERE WE COME!!! Rip Standalone releases and individual choice selection of stories I think they could keep individual choice like how they did it with 10 and River Song and what I'm thinking they might be doing with Dalek Universe (look at the text at the end of the listing www.bigfinish.com/releases/v/doctor-who-dalek-universe-1-2347) although, it would probably be more expensive than the boxsets.

As mentioned in this month's DWM, 'The End Of The Beginning' is set in the style of 'Sirens Of Time' with 5, 6 & 8 each getting their own episode before meeting in part 4 (which features 'a cameo' from 7).

DWM states that it comprises: Death and the Desert, Flight of the Blackstar, Night Gallery and, The Lost Moon. So it sounds like each epsiode will have a name. Also according to DWM 5 goes to the Ottoman Mesopotamia in the edwardian era, 6 has a 51st century space opera, 8 goes to the day Sirens of Time was released in 1999 and involves the Highgate Vampire.

Any ideas which Doctor i put this release into my collection & were? I’d always go with the more recent incarnation myself when it comes to multi Doctor stories so I’d suggest placing it with the Eighth Doctor and his tenure travelling with Charley.
