The TARDIS is still stranded but the healing process has begun. After living in Baker Street for months, the Doctor, Liv and Helen find their new friends becoming curious about who they really are. But is it wise to tell them, when their future – and their past – are filled with danger? And in the shadows, the Curator is watching. 2.1 Dead Time by Matt Fitton The Doctor wants to take the TARDIS on a test flight. But he has rather more passengers than he’d like. Soon, the crew are stranded once again in an uncertain future. One where planet Earth appears to be dead. And very soon, so will any visitors... 2.2 UNIT Dating by Roy Gill When the Doctor dips into his past to help TARDIS repairs in the present, Andy joins him on a trip to UNIT. In the 1970s, young soldier Ron Winters has just met lab assistant Tony Clare. But in 2020, they need Liv and Helen’s help when their memories start falling apart... 2.3 Baker Street Irregulars by Lisa McMullin The Doctor takes Zakia and Aisha to see some family history: their grandmother had her own secret life in Baker Street, during World War II. As Tania and Liv try to defuse an unexploded bomb, the sisters face explosive revelations of their own. 2.4 The Long Way Round by John Dorney Something is wrong with Earth’s future – so the Doctor decides to see it for himself. But very soon, the travellers are captured. Someone seems to know their every move. An interrogator wants answers, but do they even know the right questions? www.bigfinish.com/releases/v/doctor-who-stranded-2-2170

Sounds interesting. More Brigadier is always good and I like the idea of the Curator being this almost sinister presence looming over the main players of the set. Constantly watching, indeed....

I have to say and I can only speak honestly I just did not enjoy Stranded very much I really don’t know why it just didn’t grab me at all despite one of my favourite Tardis Teams even the new characters introduced didn’t leave me wanting more of them saying that out of all the Ravenous sets 1 is the least played in connection with the whole series but very much treated as stand alone stories . Reading these synopsis definitely leaves me wanting to know more except STRANDED now means NOT stranded in 21st century Earth but just stranded on EARTH in general that is fine by me this set is probably what am needing to help me appreciate more the first set in a better light

Someone finally did a story called "UNIT Dating" about UNIT people dating! xD (I almost wrote one for a Spragg contest once, actually...)
Anyway, really looking forward to this!

Looking good, though I honestly have no idea where this all is going and I love that. Stranded seams to be much more unpredictable than the 8th Doctor has been in a while.

Stranded was OK, Wild Animals was brilliant the other stories had their flaws but were interesting. I guess my expectation was for 8 & co to be stranded on contemporary Earth throughout but by the end they are set to travel already, albeit now we see to a future Earth (twice) & the Earth's past (twice). I think it will be Liv & Tania that draws me to this, they were great in the first set. The use of The Curator still feels like an unnecessary gimmick to me.

I want more of Helen tbh...I guess with Nicola being in Robots more of the other companion would be better

Always depends on your point of view of course. I really enjoyed myself and it hit the mark with me. But this might be different for you.

Because this question just popped up on social media. Was this second set always planned that way? As an escape from 2020? Or is that a sure way of escaping all the COVID fallout? Because if 2020 stays a thing in these audios... short of a parallel timeline, there is no way around COVID.
Edit- I personally would prefer an alternative timeline, I am sick to the bone of COVID. The mum of the colleague right opposite is now dying, too, my colleague got the news today and cried all day. I am sick of it. I would dislike for the virus also sneaking up on me in my escapism.
