Funny enough this almost happens in The 8 Doctors Novel where The Third Doctor steals the Master TCE and threatens 8 with it if he didnt let him steal his TARDIs

I haven’t managed to get around listening to the first volume yet but after re reading the description for this one I’m almost wondering whether in fact The Curator will end up being the overall villain for this series.
After all, the Doctor has often manipulated events for the greater good (just ask his Seventh incarnation) so that could also be the case for the Curator as well.

I really doubt that this is the case but considering the story descriptions seem to infer that there is something wrong with time, it might explain why Stranded’s version of 2020 is far different from our own. Lack of a certain virus for one thing.
All the better for it I say. It’s admittedly a matter of personal preference then anything else but I’d rather not be reminded of it when I’m trying to escape for a while.

So is it a potential spoiler that it sounds like UNIT are somehow undercover in this too or just a love story

Am not sure but yeah I gathered that too but I really would like. To see UNIt boot Torchwood out of the Timeline 😂

Ooh, that'll be interesting, though I hope they don't play up the "secrets" she's keeping across all four sets.
I am a bit curious about them calling her a "companion," though. Is that a spoiler, do you think? Traditionally companions are people who travel with the Doctor in the TARDIS, but the whole premise of this miniseries is that the TARDIS is stuck, right?
But assuming Tania does join the TARDIS crew... do you think it'll signal the departure of Liv or Helen? Helen seems the most-likely to leave, as she's been overshadowed quite a bit by Liv recently, but on the other hand, Liv has been around longer and her leaving the TARDIS, for whatever reason, could provide the impetus for Tania to abandon her current job. I suppose it's possible we could have a four-person TARDIS team for a while, but I dunno, I'm not confident that could be pulled off well without one or two of the companions receding into the background.

Companions are usually in 3 Catagories
The Main Companions
The One Off Companions (Examples:
The Reoccurring Character Companions
with Stranded 1 Tania was not a companion and more likely the love interest of a companion without much interaction with The Doctor
obviously it seems that Stranded 2 Tania will be traveling so she will be upgraded to Reoccurring Companion status
honestly i would love to see Helen and Liv leave and that we get a proper full soft reboot for The 8th Doctor Range

Honestly I feel Helen needs solo companion status let LIV go off for a bit and return later if needs be. Actually I love both characters and am happy for them both to continue but definitely don’t feel we need a third companion when already one of them is under explored (IMO)
