A fairly standard base under siege story where the Doctor and his team find themselves deep under Cadogan castle, where the furry residents have a score to settle after being the subject of man's experiments.
In the mix are a team of 80's urban explorers, and an official government delegation who are investigating the disappearances of earlier scouting parties. The story has a couple of good twists in the 2nd half.
It is a fairly good listen without being spectacular, and despite the slightly grating rat voices I found it a good way to spend a couple of hours.

Bit of an odd one for me. I really like some of the imagery in this and to be honest I didn’t find the rat voices as grating as I thought I would, but I find some of the narrative all over the place and some characters just don’t act like normal people.
One instance I can remember especially is where one character practically rattles off her entire life story to someone she has just met.

I never could quite work this one out. It is an interesting premise, but not sure whether it ever actually goes anywhere or what it is supposed to be about. I thought more would be made about the 1983 General Election, but that goes nowhere really. It makes an interesting comment on animal experimentation and the role of species for others, but not much else happens.
It is interesting to see Terry Molloy in a role different to Davros.

This one I did recently and actually thought it was a great wee tale definitely standard fare for a Doctor `who story but even going by the extras the actors/actresses enjoyed it also it’s a bit like Cry Of The Vultriss you do not have to do something amazingly complex and fantastic with the cast just tell a decent story with some interesting character interaction no complex story arcs....can be bliss

How about adding the writers name to your title I always find it good to know the writer and it makes us divergents look more professional to the outsider looking in 😂😂😂😂and it may help Kestrel later when he wants to catalogue writers hahahaha
