Well for those who quite understandably want more of Stephanie Cole in Doctor Who....here she is cast as Bessie and narrator for the beyond the Doctor range...

Paul Magrs writing a first-person story from the perspective of Bessie. Perfect.

Nice! This is a good year for Number Nine - 9 full-cast stories starring CE himself, a novelisation and a BBC audio original! I think that's the most EU stuff he's gotten in one year since 2005!

To be fair, this upcoming Bessie release isn’t the strangest thing Paul Magrs has ever written.

DL Only re-Issue of Lost TV Episodes Collection 5 ("Missing Stories" Soundtracks with linking narration for Enemy of the World, Web of Fear, Fury from the Deep, The Wheel in Space, The Invasion, The Space Pirates) I checked on this last night as I have had it on pre-order since it came up. It is indeed the compact CD re-issue. The digital option is an DRM Audible, so not DL compatible. I have the Audible single release editions of Fury from the Deep, Wheel in Space and The Space Pirates, so maybe will need to get a new CD drive to rip a digital copy of Enemy of the World, Web of Fear and The Invasion for the PC. Not sure how many others have been getting these re-issues, but they are a an excellent buy, especially if you did not get the original box sets, which have been like the Blu-Ray collection sets price wise for a good while. For those with the time and a decent printer, Matthew Purchase and others online produce very good DVD covers in HD to enable people to complete their 'DVD run' of the Classic series releases. I am still quite tempted myself to do the same.

A release compilation of the 12 doctor original audiobooks from a few years back is coming out later this year www.penguin.co.uk/books/144/1446648/doctor-who--twelfth-doctor-tales/9781529143720.htmlA few readers from twelve's era but no one major only Dan Starkey and Jemma Redgrave and Clare Higgins played notable character's, although a couple of the other readers played minor parts. Theres also Nicola Bryant which is a bit left field but welcome none the less. I might pick it up, never heard these. Looks like Clare read an Ohila story which is interesting and one of the covers has a singing drashig on the front so the series can’t be all bad. Ten hours of content for one credit is a good deal, if you've never picked these up before like me this might be a good time to pick them up especially if your feeling a lack of 12 content.

Interestingly enough, at the time of writing, they are listed for audible download only, there is no option to buy the CD. Dunno if this is just a temporary Amazon blip because they are just freshly announced and not everything is up to date yet on the Amazon site, or if BBC Audio are going DL only

Dunno if this is just a temporary Amazon blip because they are just freshly announced and not everything is up to date yet on the Amazon site, or if BBC Audio are going DL only Never fear, Penguin's website lists them all as both DL and CD: www.penguin.co.uk/search-results.html?tab=books&q=doctor+who&format=Audio+CD&sort=publicationDate_desc...and that search also includes listings for: - Time and the Rani (read by Bonnie Langford) - Timelash - The Face of Evil - The Reign of Terror& something called The Penumbra Affair which I'd not heard about until now (but the description for that one mistakenly describes Battlefield, so I've no idea what it is!) By my count, that makes these twelve novelisations the only ones without an available audiobook: Doctor Who and an Unearthly Child The Romans The Celestial Toymaker The Power of the Daleks The Evil of the Daleks The Seeds of Death The Time Monster Doctor Who and the Loch Ness Monster Doctor Who and the Planet of Evil Doctor Who and the Destiny of the Daleks Snakedance Planet of Fire

Off the top of my head: Keys of Marinus Android Invasion Face of Evil Nightmare of Eden Horns of Nimon (original Terrance novelisation or Anthoby Read renovelisation) Kinda Warriors of the Deep Attack of the Cybermen [The above 3 ignore the 1990s abridged audiobooks] Silver Nemesis And possibly . . . Slipback Nightmare Fair Ultimate Evil Mission to Magnus Turlough and the Earthlink Dilemma Harry Sullivan's War PS When the time comes I hope they do a multi voice reading of The Romans

Still at least a couple years of Targets for BBC audio! *but wouldn't it be wild if they did Slipback, Pescatons, Paradise of Death, Ghosts of N-space - audios of novels of audios!
