Another weird one!
Shreeves are a pretty fun concept, for aliens. I love that they just live on Earth, doing their own thing, and the Doctor knows, but doesn't really care. Kinda makes me think of Men in Black: there's just something cool about thinking there's this whole extra-terrestrial community all around us, we just know know about it because the aliens are all pretty chill.
And the Shreeve themselves? I know they weren't described as such, but in my mind, I couldn't help but see them as anthropomorphic cats. Big, electrostatic cats.
That said, this is,t o me, one of the weaker, or least-interesting stories in the first season/set of Short Trips. I dunno. Sophie Aldred delivers a solid performance, but there just didn't seem to be much of a 'hook' to the story. And it's definitely hard to imagine the 7th Doctor ever being fooled by an alien doppelganger of the Brigadier.
So, anyone else grab these early Short Trips in the recent sale? Or listen to 'em recently? If so, what did you think?

I wish this Short Trip was more exciting. It’s better than the first two stories from volume 1, but not as good as 3-6. One to go now.

This deserves a 5/5 for the title alone... I like a bit of reggae!
