What links a disintegrating spaceship to a posh garden party, where a wealthy couple are celebrating their love for each other in style? Gatecrashers the Doctor and Lucie think they know the answer. But they're not the only uninvited guests - ferocious alien warriors riding pterodactyl-like Vortisaurs are about to make their entrance!
a tale that has always captured me from the start I think it was the haunting violins playing...well that and an excellent cast certainly helped.Barnaby Edwards really is a top director.Strange hearing again Julia McKenzie in a non 12 role. Some story’s work with the team already in the middle of the action and from the beginning of these adventures you can tell that Paul is having fun in the role a feeling I get with him again when Ravenous box sets begin.Maybe am just a romantic and the tale just works for me...but it is a great script well acted and soundscaped and directed.

BF should get Paul Sutton back for more, I don't think he has written anything for them in years.

Thought this was a charming and quite moving little piece. A definite highlight of the Eighth Doctor Adventures in my opinion. Plus, Nigel Havers was perfect casting for the character of Nick Zimmerman.
