An underrated gem of the Eighth Doctor Adventure range in my opinion. The references to the works of Edgar Allan Poe are of course very blatant but I wouldn’t say they are egregious.
Really wish Emilia Fox had done at least a few more Big Finish’s. Felt like she’d have made a good Rani for the revived series.

After Scapegoat am all for Samantha Bond for the Rani- This tale is next on the relisten list as I been busy with a few others I do love the cover.

I took a small excursion into the McGann Tv Movie been a few years since I watched just because all these McGann audios left me wanting that youthful McGann before all the Time War shenanigans implanted in my brain again.I remember when it first came out I was kind of thinking is this really a great introductory tale for Tamsin (Nicky Wardley) but hey if you are going to travel with a TimeLord(or not a Timelord as the current unfolding would tease) then you might as well get thrown in at the mad deep end...you get the mad tour of the TARDIS and then attacked by red mist and locked in a coffin .McGann does a great recital of Poe as for Fenella Woolgar and Emilia Fox two great artists disguising their voices which they do really well but seems a waste somehow
